Automated use of DIANA for two-fermion production at colliders
We describe packages for the calculation of radiative corrections to
two-fermion production at colliders. The packages use DIANA, and also QGRAF,
FORM, Fortran, and further unix/linux tools. The one-loop calculations in the
Standard Model are highly automatized with the package aITALC. Further, the
automatic determination of all the matrix elements for two-loop corrections to
massive Bhabha scattering in QED and the classification of their topologies and
prototypes is done with DIANA. A generalization to the Standard Model is

Automatic one-loop calculation of MSSM processes with GRACE
We have developed the system for the automatic computation of cross-sections,
{\tt GRACE/SUSY}, including the one-loop calculations for processes of the
minimal supersymmetric extension of the the standard model. For an application,

The Road Towards the ILC: Higgs, Top/QCD, Loops
The International Linear e+e- Collider (ILC) could go into operation in the
second half of the upcoming decade. Experimental analyses and theory
calculations for the physics at the ILC are currently performed. We review
recent progress, as presented at the LCWS06 in Bangalore, India, in the fields
of Higgs boson physics and top/QCD. Also the area of loop calculations,

Two-loop SUSY QCD corrections to the chargino masses in the MSSM
We have calculated the two-loop strong interaction corrections to the
chargino pole masses in the DRbar'-scheme in the Minimal Supersymmetric
Standard Model (MSSM) with complex parameters. We have performed a detailed
numerical analysis for a particular point in the parameter space and found
corrections of a few tenths of a percent. We provide a computer program which
calculates chargino and neutralino masses with complex parameters including the

Hard exclusive photoproduction of mesons
We calculate the differential cross section and single-polarization
observables for the reaction within perturbative QCD,
treating the proton as a quark-diquark system. The phenomenological couplings
of gauge bosons to (spatially extended) diquarks and the quark-diquark
distribution amplitude of the proton are adopted from previous investigations
of baryon form factors and two-photon processes. Going beyond leading order, we
take into account hadron-mass effects by means of a systematic expansion in the
small parameter (hadron mass/ photon energy). With the -meson
distribution amplitude taken from the literature our predictions for the
differential cross section at | t | \agt 4 \text{GeV}^2 seem to provide a
reasonable extrapolation of the low-t data and are also comparable in magnitude
with the results of a two-gluon exchange model in which the gluons are
considered as a remnant of the pomeron. For momentum transfers of a few GeV

Electroweak Corrections to the Top Quark Decay
We have calculated the one-loop electroweak corrections to the decay t-> bW+,
including the counterterm for the CKM matrix elements V(tb). Previous
calculations used an incorrect delta V(tb) that led to a gauge dependent
amplitude. However, since the contribution stemming from delta V(tb) is small,
those calculations only underestimate the width by roughly one part in 10^5.Comment: 7 pages, 2 figure
Emotions in context: examining pervasive affective sensing systems, applications, and analyses
Pervasive sensing has opened up new opportunities for measuring our feelings and understanding our behavior by monitoring our affective states while mobile. This review paper surveys pervasive affect sensing by examining and considering three major elements of affective pervasive systems, namely; âsensingâ, âanalysisâ, and âapplicationâ. Sensing investigates the different sensing modalities that are used in existing real-time affective applications, Analysis explores different approaches to emotion recognition and visualization based on different types of collected data, and Application investigates different leading areas of affective applications. For each of the three aspects, the paper includes an extensive survey of the literature and finally outlines some of challenges and future research opportunities of affective sensing in the context of pervasive computing
Bounds on the mass of the b' quark, revisited
Recent results from the DELPHI collaboration led us to review the present
bounds on the b' quark mass. We use all available experimental data for m_b' >
96 GeV to constrain the b' quark mass as a function of the
Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa elements in a sequential four generations model. We
find that there is still room for a b' with a mass larger than 96 GeV.Comment: 9 pages and 7 figures. REVTEX
The MSSM prediction for W+/- H-/+ production by gluon fusion
We discuss the associated W+/- H-/+ production in p p collision for the Large
Hadron Collider. A complete one-loop calculation of the loop-induced subprocess
g g -> W+/- H-/+ is presented in the framework of the Minimal Supersymmetric
Standard Model (MSSM), and the possible enhancement of the hadronic cross
section is investigated under the constraint from the squark direct-search
results and the low-energy precision data. Because of the large destructive
interplay in the quark-loop contributions between triangle-type and box-type
diagrams, the squark-loop contributions turn out to be comparable with the
quark-loop ones. In particular, the hadronic cross section via gluon fusion can
be extensively enhanced by squark-pair threshold effects in the box-type
diagrams, so that it can be as large as the hadronic cross section via the b
b-bar -> W+/- H-/+ subprocess which appears at tree level.Comment: 35 pages, 7 figures, version to appear in Physical Review
