Four graviton scattering amplitude from supersymmetric orbifold sigma model
In the IR limit the Matrix string theory is expected to be described by the
supersymmetric orbifold sigma model. Recently Dijkgraaf, Verlinde
and Verlinde proposed a vertex that may describe the type IIA string
interaction. In this paper using this interaction vertex we derive the four
graviton scattering amplitude from the orbifold model in the large limit.Comment: latex, 35 pages, misprints are corrected, the final version to appear

New Results from Glueball Superpotentials and Matrix Models: the Leigh-Strassler Deformation
Using the result of a matrix model computation of the exact glueball
superpotential, we investigate the relevant mass perturbations of the
Leigh-Strassler marginal ``q'' deformation of N=4 supersymmetric gauge theory.
We recall a conjecture for the elliptic superpotential that describes the
theory compactified on a circle and identify this superpotential as one of the
Hamiltonians of the elliptic Ruijsenaars-Schneider integrable system. In the
limit that the Leigh-Strassler deformation is turned off, the integrable system
reduces to the elliptic Calogero-Moser system which describes the N=1^* theory.
Based on these results, we identify the Coulomb branch of the partially
mass-deformed Leigh-Strassler theory as the spectral curve of the
Ruijsenaars-Schneider system. We also show how the Leigh-Strassler deformation
may be obtained by suitably modifying Witten's M theory brane construction of
N=2 theories.Comment: 13 pages, JHEP, amstex, changed JHEP to JHEP
Electron neutrino mass scale in spectrum of Dirac equation with the 5-form flux term on the AdS(5)xS(5) background
Dimensional reduction from 10 to 5 dimensions of the IIB supergravity Dirac
equation written down on the AdS(5)xS(5) (+ self-dual 5-form) background
provides the unambiguous values of bulk masses of Fermions in the effective 5D
Randall Sundrum theory. The use of "untwisted" and "twisted" (hep-th/0012378)
boundary conditions at the UV and IR ends of the warped space-time results in
two towers of spectrum of Dirac equation: the ordinary one which is linear in
spectral number and the "twisted" one exponentially decreasing with growth of
spectral number. Taking into account of the Fermion-5-form interaction
(hep-th/9811106) gives the electron neutrino mass scale in the "twisted"
spectrum of Dirac equation. Profiles in extra space of the eigenfunctions of
left and right "neutrinos" drastically differ which may result in the extremely
small coupling of light right neutrino with ordinary matter thus joining it to
plethora of candidates for Dark Matter.Comment: 11 page
A new dynamical reflection algebra and related quantum integrable systems
We propose a new dynamical reflection algebra, distinct from the previous
dynamical boundary algebra and semi-dynamical reflection algebra. The
associated Yang-Baxter equations, coactions, fusions, and commuting traces are
derived. Explicit examples are given and quantum integrable Hamiltonians are
constructed. They exhibit features similar to the Ruijsenaars-Schneider
Hamiltonians.Comment: 16 pages v2: signs in the classical reflection algebra correcte
Kaluza-Klein Holography
We construct a holographic map between asymptotically AdS_5 x S^5 solutions
of 10d supergravity and vacuum expectation values of gauge invariant operators
of the dual QFT. The ingredients that enter in the construction are (i) gauge
invariant variables so that the KK reduction is independent of any choice of
gauge fixing; (ii) the non-linear KK reduction map from 10 to 5 dimensions
(constructed perturbatively in the number of fields); (iii) application of
holographic renormalization. A non-trivial role in the last step is played by
extremal couplings. This map allows one to reliably compute vevs of operators
dual to any KK fields. As an application we consider a Coulomb branch solution
and compute the first two non-trivial vevs, involving operators of dimension 2
and 4, and reproduce the field theory result, in agreement with
non-renormalization theorems. This constitutes the first quantitative test of
the gravity/gauge theory duality away from the conformal point involving a vev
of an operator dual to a KK field (which is not one of the gauged supergravity
fields).Comment: 47 pages, v2: minor improvements, version to appear in JHE
Anatomy of bubbling solutions
We present a comprehensive analysis of holography for the bubbling solutions
of Lin-Lunin-Maldacena. These solutions are uniquely determined by a coloring
of a 2-plane, which was argued to correspond to the phase space of free
fermions. We show that in general this phase space distribution does not
determine fully the 1/2 BPS state of N=4 SYM that the gravitational solution is
dual to, but it does determine it enough so that vevs of all single trace 1/2
BPS operators in that state are uniquely determined to leading order in the
large N limit. These are precisely the vevs encoded in the asymptotics of the
LLM solutions. We extract these vevs for operators up to dimension 4 using
holographic renormalization and KK holography and show exact agreement with the
field theory expressions.Comment: 67 pages, 6 figures; v2: typos corrected, refs added; v3: expanded

Simplified TBA equations of the AdS5 Ă— S5 mirror model
We use the recently found integral representation for the dressing phase in the kinematic region of the mirror theory to simplify the TBA equations for the AdS5 Ă— S5 mirror model. The resulting set of equations provides an efficient starting point for both analytic and numerical studies
Foundations of the AdS5 Ă— S5 Superstring Part I
We review the recent advances towards finding the spectrum of the AdS_5 x S^5 superstring. We thoroughly explain the theoretical techniques which should be useful for the ultimate solution of the spectral problem. In certain cases our exposition is original and cannot be found in the existing literature. The present Part I deals with foundations of classical string theory in AdS_5 x S^5, light-cone perturbative quantization and derivation of the exact light-cone world-sheet scattering matri
