Praktická část obsahuje popis návrhu, implementace a testování aplikace. Výsledná aplikace umožňuje uživateli jednoduše pracovat s RSS kanály a příspěvky a díky dodržování Apple Human Interface Guidelines vypadá přirozeným prvkém systému iOS.The aim of this work is to create a mobile application for iOS operating system for easy following, reading and storing/archiving of stories from news sites and blogs accessed through web feeds in RSS format. The application is implemented in Swift programming language. Apple's Core Data application framework was used for data persistence. The work consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes the RSS format and principles of programming an application for iOS operating system. The practical part contains description of design, implementation and testing of the application. The resulting application provides user with a simple instrument to work with RSS channels and stories, and by following the Apple Human Interface Guidelines the application fits naturally in iOS ecosystem.

Totalitarianism and geography: L.S. Berg and the defence of an academic discipline in the age of Stalin

In considering the complex relationship between science and politics, the article focuses upon the career of the eminent Russian scholar, Lev Semenovich Berg (1876–1950), one of the leading geographers of the Stalin period. Already before the Russian Revolution, Berg had developed a naturalistic notion of landscape geography which later appeared to contradict some aspects of Marxist–Leninist ideology. Based partly upon Berg's personal archive, the article discusses the effects of the 1917 revolution, the radical changes which Stalin's cultural revolution (from the late 1920s) brought upon Soviet science, and the attacks made upon Berg and his concept of landscape geography thereafter. The ways in which Berg managed to defend his notion of geography (sometimes in surprisingly bold ways) are considered. It is argued that geography's position under Stalin was different from that of certain other disciplines in that its ideological disputes may have been regarded as of little significance by the party leaders, certainly by comparison with its practical importance, thus providing a degree of ‘freedom’ for some geographers at least analogous to that which has been described by Weiner (1999. A little corner of freedom: Russian nature protection from Stalin to Gorbachev. Berkeley: University of California Press) for conservationists. It is concluded that Berg and others successfully upheld a concept of scientific integrity and limited autonomy even under Stalinism, and that, in an era of ‘Big Science’, no modernizing state could or can afford to emasculate these things entirely

Study of the e+eηγe^+e^-\to\eta\gamma process with SND detector at the VEPP-2M e+ee^+e^- collider

In experiment with the SND detector at VEPP-2M e+ee^+e^- collider the e+eηγe^+e^-\to\eta\gamma cross section was measured in the energy range EE=0.60--1.38 GeV with the integrated luminosity of 27.8 pb1^{-1}. The measured cross section is well described by the vector meson dominance model with contributions from the ρ(770)\rho(770), ω(783)\omega(783), ϕ(1020)\phi(1020), ρ(1465)\rho^{\prime}(1465) resonances and agrees with results of previous measurements. The decay probabilities \BR(\phi\to\eta\gamma), \BR(\omega\to\eta\gamma) and \BR(\rho\to\eta\gamma) were measured with the accuracies better than or comparable to the world averages.Comment: 13 pages, 6 figures, 5 table

A search for direct production of C-even resonances a2(1320) and f2(1270) in e+e- annihilation was performed with SND detector at VEPP-2M e+e- collider. The upper limits of electronic widths of these mesons were obtained at 90% confidence level: Gamma(a2(1320) \to e+e-) < 0.56 eV, Gamma(f2(1270) \to e+e-) < 0.11 eV.Comment: 6 pages, 5 figures, 1 table.
