Structure of flux tube in SU(2) lattice gauge theory

Abstract

The structure of the flux tube is studied in $SU(2)$ QCD from the standpoint of the abelian projection theory. It is shown that the flux distributions of the orthogonal electric field and the magnetic field are produced by the effect that the abelian monopoles in the maximally abelian (MA) gauge are expelled from the string region.Comment: 3 pages, uuencoded compressed file, contribution to Lattice '9
