Experimental teaching of chemistry : pedagogical resource - use of the laboratory in the classes of sciences chemistry discipline - learning challenges
Este artigo apresenta aulas práticas no laboratório de Química como recurso pedagógico importante para auxiliar na construção dos conceitos trabalhados nos primeiros anos do ensino médio. O objetivo principal é favorecer aos alunos uma aprendizagem que tenha significado e possa relacionar as teorias normalmente estudadas na sala de aula com experimentos práticos facilitando o aprendizado e o despertar científico dos alunos. Descrevemos aqui estas atividades juntamente com argumentos e conclui-se o texto com os resultados obtidos. A presente pesquisa foi realizada no Colégio Estadual Protásio Alves, situado na cidade de Porto Alegre, no estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Participaram alunos de quatro turmas do 1° ano do Ensino Médio, totalizando 106 alunos. Todas as turmas do turno da manhã com faixa etária de 14 a 16 anos.This article presents practical classes in the Chemistry laboratory as an important pedagogical resource to assist in the construction of concepts worked in the first years of high school. The main goal is to favor students who have meaningful learning and can relate the theories normally studied in the classroom with practical experiments that facilitate student learning and scientific awakening. We describe these activities together with arguments and conclude the text with the results obtained. The present research was carried out at Protásio Alves State College, located in the city of Porto Alegre, state of Rio Grande do Sul. Students from four high school classes participated in the study, totaling 106 students. All classes of the morning shift with ages ranging from 14 to 16 year
