Abstract

Since 1990 Internet has become one of the powerful tools in doing business all over the world. Among the technologies regarding Internet, Electronic Commerce(EC) gives opportunities as well as threats to the enterprises, especially to the Korean Small and Medium-sized Enterprises(SMEs). This paper reviews these threats and opportunities in the strategic point of view, which provides some guidelines for SMEs in Korea to overcome surrounding difficulties and prosper in the next 21st century
