This study aims to determine how much influence the role of teachers on student achievement in the subjects of class XI IPS accountant in SMA Negeri 1 Takalar. This research is a quantitative research. Variables in this
study are Student Creativity (X) and Learning Achievement (Y) as measured by Likert Scale. The population is all students of class XI IPS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Takalar academic year 2017/2018 which amounted to 32 people. Data
ollection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis
technique is done by using the data validity analysis and statistical data analysis
using SPSS 23 for windows.
The result of simple linear regression equation obtained between
teacher role and Learning Achievement, =14,630 + 0,506X. Coefficient of
positive value means a positive relationship between the role of teachers with
learning achievements. Coefficient of product moment correlation obtained r
value = 0.608. The value shows the relationship in the strong category between
the role of teachers with Student Learning Achievement. While the coefficient
of determination (r2) = 0.369 = 36.9%. The value of t arithmetic is 4.899 at a significant level of 5%, with degrees of freedom (dk = n-2 or dk = 32-2) higher
than t table = 1.068. It means that the hypothesis accepted that "The role of teachers has a positive and significant impact on Student Achievement in
Accounting subjects class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 1 Takalar".
