ANALYSIS OF STRESS AND SETTLEMENTS OF LAYERED SOIL BENEATH SHALOW FOUNDATIONS

Abstract

U završnom radu ću govoriti općenito o podjeli plitkih temelja, načinu proračuna nosivosti, dodatnih naprezanja, slijeganjima i konsolidaciji. Također, promatrat ću korištenje stroja edometar za dobivanje osnovnih parametara tla i konsolidaciju promatranog materijala. Ponajviše ću se fokusirati na slijeganjima temeljnog tla i promjenu raspodjele dodatnih naprezanja na primjeru zadatka u kojem je zadana jedna vrste temelja i opterećenja za 3 različite mogućnosti promjene pozicija tala. Ukazat ću na neke od prednosti i mane softvera GEO5 i način funkcioniranja njegovoga proračuna. Potom ću napraviti usporedbu rezultata ručnog i programskog računanja.In the final paper, I will generally talk about the shallow foundations, load calculation method, additional stresses, subsidence and the consolidations. I will also observe the usage of an oedometer to obtain basic soil parameters and consolidate of the observation material. Most of all, I will focus on subsidence of the fundamental soil and change in the distribution of additional stress in the example of the problem in which it was given one type of foundation and one type od the load for 3 different possibilities for position changes of soils. I will point out some of the advantages and disadvantages of GEO5 software and how its calculation work. I will then make a comparison in the results of the manual and program calculation
