CP/MAS \u3csup\u3e13\u3c/sup\u3eC n.m.r. study of polyamide-6:spectra and spin-lattice relaxation times

Abstract

\u3cp\u3eCP/MAS \u3csup\u3e13\u3c/sup\u3eC n.m.r. spectra and \u3csup\u3e13\u3c/sup\u3eC spin-lattice relaxation times (T\u3csub\u3e1\u3c/sub\u3e) of solid polyamide-6 (Ny-6) have been observed. The effect of sorbed water, fast cooling of the Ny-6 melt and addition of ethylene-vinyl alcohol (EVOH) copolymer to Ny-6, respectively, on the spectra and the T\u3csub\u3e1\u3c/sub\u3e values have been investigated. Sorbed water did not affect the spectra and the T\u3csub\u3e1\u3c/sub\u3e values significantly. However, differences could be observed between the spectra and T\u3csub\u3e1\u3c/sub\u3e values of Ny-6 powder, Ny-6 film and Ny-6 in the blends.\u3c/p\u3
