Abstract
Coercion and interpretation is the theme to which the sages of the first issue of the journal SeD are devoted and is the subject analyzed in this paper, where the Author confront the classic essay by Pierre Bourdieu "The strength of Law" and the namesake book by Frederick Schauer. The matter “interpretation of law” is also the subject of insights from a recent essay by Alessandro Catelani which, like that of Roberto Bin, open new perspectives for research, especially in the socio-legal field.

Riassunto
Coercizione ed interpretazione è il tema cui i saggi del primo fascicolo della rivista SED sono dedicati ed è l'argomento sviscerato in questo saggio ove l’Autore delinea un parallelo tra il saggio di Pierre Bourdieu "La forza della legge" e l'omonimo libro di Frederick Schauer. L'interpretazione giuridica è pure oggetto di approfondimenti a partire dal recente saggio di Alessandro Catelani che, come quello di Roberto Bin, aprono nuove prospettive di ricerca soprattutto nel campo socio-giuridico.
