Students will:   1)  Work on developing a theology of wholeness.   2)  Articulate principles of psychosomatics.   3)  Begin to come to grips with a Christian perspective on suffering.   4)  Look at Biblical and contemporary views of healing.   5)  Get acquainted with representative literature in the field.   6)  Begin to know about persons and organizations in the various healing communities.   7) Learn about ways of healing:  prayer, positive thinking, healing of memories, exercise              physiology, nutrition, emotional support systems, medicine, surgery, psychiatry and                 counseling, humor, etc.    8)  Learn how to facilitate healing ministry.    COURSE PROCEDURES include such methodologies as:   1) Xeroxed sheets for information, stimulation, and dialogue.   2) Overhead transparencies.   3) Case studies.   4) Guests from pastoral and healthcare-delivery communities.   5) Bibliographic survey.   6) Required reading (available in Bookstore):  2   D.
