Iron-Catalyzed C(sp³)–H Acyloxylation of Aryl‑2<i>H</i> Azirines with Hypervalent Iodine(III) Reagents

Abstract

This letter describes an iron-catalyzed C­(sp³)–H acyloxylation of aryl-2<i>H</i> azirines with hypervalent iodine­(III) reagents (HIRs) serving as both an oxidant and a reagent. This methodology provides a rapid access to a wide range of monoacyloxylated 3-aryl-2<i>H</i>-azirines in moderate to good yields
