Abstract

Changes in general reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels and malondialdehyde (MDA) generation, a final degradation product of lipid peroxidation, are shown in (A) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) and reduced glutathione (GSH) in (B). §: P<0.01 compared with SHO group (sham operation), : P<0.01 compared with UUO group (model group subjected to unilateral ureteral obstruction), ☆: P>0.05 compared with UUO group. PHB−: UUO rats treated with lentivirus carrying siRNA PHB; PHB+; UUO rats treated with lentivirus carrying PHB; Negative control: UUO rats treated with control viruses; AOX: antioxidant.</p
