Abstract
<p>Restoration of corneal epithelium began at day 7 after transplantation with reconstructed corneal epithelium on aCM (A). Normal morphology was observed at day 30 (B) with no goblet cells (C), whereas the group that received reconstructed corneal epithelium on dAM exhibited defective corneal epithelium at day 7 (D) and goblet cells (arrow) were still observed at day 30 (E, F).
