本发明提供了一种编织型摩擦材料用水溶性酚醛树脂溶液及其制备方法。该水溶性酚醛树脂溶液采用聚乙烯醇、纳米级凹凸棒土以及微米级铜粉多重改性水溶性酚醛树脂,其中在水溶性酚醛树脂溶液的合成工艺中加入少量聚乙烯醇,增强了树脂的水溶性、粘接性能以及韧性;同时,加入纳米级凹凸棒土和微米级铜粉颗粒,在提高树脂的耐热性和耐磨性的同时进一步增强了其韧性。以该水溶性酚醛树脂溶液作为粘接剂制备编织型摩擦材料时,不仅成本低、环境污染小,而且能够提高纤维等材料与浆料的粘结性、避免浆料从材料表面脱落,同时能够提高编织型摩擦材料的耐高温性与耐摩擦性,有效避免因树脂热分解导致摩擦系数降低
