El sector empresarial a través del tiempo ha desarrollado diferentes actividades en búsqueda de que sus operaciones generen una competitividad, eficacia y eficiencia en el uso de sus recursos. Sin embargo, al enfrentarse a diferentes desafíos en el mercado, no se establecen parámetros que permitan el éxito y el valor agregado entre las empresas de la misma actividad económica desde el compromiso ambiental. En tal sentido, esta investigación contribuye al compromiso y desarrollo de buenas prácticas que puedan aportar al mejoramiento de la calidad de los productos y servicios; conservación y protección del medio ambiente desde la implementación de NTC ISO 9001:2015 y NTC ISO 14001:2015, en organizaciones y empresas de diferentes sectores económicos. Se concluye que, un empresario sostenible presenta la oportunidad de mejorar la calidad de vida de todas las partes interesadas, obtiene en su empresa un uso eficiente de los recursos y lidera una transformación competitiva.The business sector through time has developed activities in the search for operations that generate competitiveness, efficiency and efficiency in the use of its resources.
