Curs acadèmic: 2016/2017Learning and teaching history in Early Childhood Education is not always a reality, because some authors defend that this is not a main discipline for children of this age and they are not able to learn concepts related to social sciences. However, there are some authors that defend the importance of teaching history in the second cycle of Early Childhood Education. Due to this, I have decided to do a project related to history, but more concretely to be able to the different cultures of the settlers that have live in the town of Almassora. Therefore, the main aim of this project is know the history and the traditions of the town of Almassora using an active methodology by the students. In this way the children of this town will be able to learn about the history of their town using a specific methodology adapted to their ages and some resource like the patrimony through some visits or images. Furthermore, kids will be able to do and experience of first-hand the costumes of the different historical ages because they will be the protagonists of the proposed activities. This project, that has been implemented in the school named Germans Ochando with pupils who have got four and five years old, aims to be a resource for teachers of different schools of Almassora and they will be able to use it in their classroom of Preschool and they will learn the history of the town, using an active methodology for the children based in learning though the projectsL’aprenentatge i l’ensenyament de la història en l’Educació Infantil no sempre és una realitat, ja que alguns autors defenen que no és una disciplina principal per als xiquets d’aquestes edats i que aquest encara no són capaços d’aprendre conceptes relacionats en les ciències socials. Però sí que hi ha d’altres autors que defenen la importància de l’ensenyament de la història en el segon cicle d’Educació Infantil. Per aquesta raó, he decidit fer un projecte relacionat en la història, però més concretament per poder aprendre les diferents cultures i pobladors que han conviscut en la localitat d’Almassora. Per tant, l’objectiu principal d’aquest projecte és conéixer la història i les tradicions de la població d’Almassora emprant una metodologia activa per part de l’alumnat. D’aquesta manera els xiquets i xiquetes d’aquesta població podran aprendre la història del seu entorn més directe, emprant una metodologia adaptada als alumnes i les seues edats utilitzant els recursos del patrimoni, a través d’imatges o de visites. A més els xiquets podran fer i provar de primera mà els costums de les diferents èpoques històriques, ja que seran ells els principals protagonistes de les activitats proposades. Aquest projecte que sí que s’ha posat en pràctica en l’escola Germans Ochando en alumnes de 4 i 5 anys, pretén ser un recurs perquè els diferents mestres de les escoles d’Almassora puguen emprar-lo en les seues aules d’Educació Infantil i poder ensenyar la història de la localitat, utilitzant una metodologia activa per als alumnes basada en l’aprenentatge per projectes
