Modelling goods and services from cork oak forests

Abstract

Forest ecosystems provide multiple essential ecosystem services (ES) for ecological and human well-being. In forest management, understanding of the services and functions distribution, interactions and assessing the economic value of forest ES represent an important future challenge to balancing tradeoffs among them.
