Aim : This study aims to examine the trends and issues in Japanese and foreign research papers on nursing care for young women with breast cancer. Methods : We searched the online version of the CINAHL and Ichushi-Web Ver. 4 for the keywords “breast cancer”, “young women”,and “nursing”or“care.” Results : 14papers were chosen for analysis. The research themes pertained to sexual and reproductive health, cancer experience, the role of the family, and rehabilitation needs. Conclusion : This study found that research on nursing for young women with breast cancer was still in its infancy. We expect that,in the future,foundational research on young women with breast cancer will be undertaken, not only overseas, but in Japan as well,and that there will be active efforts to create nursing support methods for these young women
