Time perception deficits represent an aspect of cognitive malfunctioning shared by developmental disorders, which otherwise seem distinct with respect to their individual primary symptom clusters, such as autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
