An Engineer\u27s Role in the Recommendation of a Self-sustaining Study

Abstract

At Chubu University, one of the core universities for advancing ESD (Education for Sustainable Development), we are conducting education and research in an effort to achieve ESD. Also, we are trying to make an original <theory of sustainable development< for the benefit of those who live in the Chubu area. In this paper we will describe the <Special Task Program< and its results at Chubu University. The Program is designed for students at the university, who are expected to act not by words but by deeds, and to live for the realization of a sustainable society
