Observation of ³MC Emission in a Mixed 1,10-Phenanthroline Complex of Ruthenium(II) Having a Ru^IIN₆ Core at Room Temperature in Solution

Abstract

[Ru(1,10-phenanthroline)2(4,4,4‘,4‘-tetramethyl-2,2‘-bisoxazoline)](PF6)2·H2O (1) shows a 3MC emission in CH3CN and CH3OH at room temperature around 590 nm with radiative lifetimes of 1.22 × 10-4 and 1.40 × 10-4 s, respectively. The X-ray crystal structure of 1 has been determined
