Safranin-O staining of subcutaneously implanted DBM/AF constructs.

Abstract

<p>Specimens were harvested at 4 and 12 weeks postoperatively and embedded in paraffin. Sections, 7 µm thick, were stained with Safranin-O. Red colors denote proteoglycan signal (arrow head). Osteoblasts appeared at the junction of DBM and AF tissues (arrows).</p
