FT4E: The Optimization of a Proven Modular Industrial Gas Turbine

Abstract

This paper reviews the design of the latest version of the United Technologies FT4 modular industrial turbine. This FT4E design program was initiated early in 1976 and is scheduled for production in 1979. The broad experience of the FT4 is reviewed to show the basis for the design concepts and parameters that were the basis of the FT4E program.</jats:p
