Abstract

This report describes an analogue computation model which is appropriate to study the transient behaviour of closed-cycle HTR gas-turbine plants during power changes. This computationmodel was used to study a non-integrated HTR helium-turbine system of 600 MW$_{(e)}$, the concept and lay-out data of which are also discussed. The report does not contain the results of parameter studies performed; these are intended to be published in a later Part 2
