Análisis de la aplicación de la guía de buenas prácticas para turismo sostenible de la Rainforest Alliance, en la Hostería Luis Antonio, Parroquia Ventura, Provincia del Cañar
Para la efectiva consolidación de esta Tesis, previa a la obtención del título en “Ingeniería en Turismo” se realizó, un análisis exhaustivo de la sostenibilidad y del turismo sostenible, dando mayor énfasis al contenido de la guía “Buenas Prácticas para el Turismo Sostenible de la Rainforest Alliance”, la cual propone parámetros y reglas para el desarrollo y aplicación del turismo sostenible. Ademásse detalla cada uno de los pilares del turismo sostenible: ambiental, social y económico, para luego continuar con el proceso de investigación, en la Hostería “Luis Antonio” ubicada en la parroquia Ventura, provincia del Cañar, revelando su situación actual y evaluando las posibilidades que permitan la aplicación del turismo sostenible, para lo que se investigó y profundizó sobre: su situación geográfica, su historial, su infraestructura y superestructura; obteniendo además, la información necesaria sobre la oferta, demanda, técnicas existentes de turismo sostenible que se aplican y aquellas que no se aplican de acuerdo con las condiciones del entorno, a través de entrevistas estructuradas y no estructuradas, encuestas y la observación directa de los equipamientos con los que cuenta, como también las características del entorno y el tratamiento que se lo da, con el objetivo de sugerir la aplicación mediante una propuesta de los métodos y técnicas que la “Guía de Buenas Prácticas para el Turismo Sostenible” propone, en las áreas y servicios que requieran adaptación y cambio para una mejor atención.For the effective consolidation of this thesis, prior to obtaining title "Hospitality Management" was held, a comprehensive analysis of sustainability and sustainable tourism, giving greater emphasis to the contents of the guide "Best Practices for Sustainable Tourism Rainforest Alliance", which proposes parameters and rules for the development and implementation of sustainable tourism.
