Safe or unsafe determinations are derived from a logical progression across the entire spectrum, with comprehensive evaluations that protect lives, enhance operational standards, and foster future innovations in aerospace safety. • The Safety Rainbow framework shifts the focus of safety community from reactive crash investigation to proactive incidents and accidents prevention, through impartial and sequential progression. Incidents, whether predictable or unforeseen, may emerge out of the blue (Ultraviolet) and pass thorough proper hazard identification, risk management, and corrective actions until they reach in the “Infrared” zone of aviation law. If traditional methods are effective, what drives the ongoing need for safety enhancements?• The Safety Rainbow offers a transparent and intuitive framework for understanding and managing aviation safety, emphasizing the causal chain of events or conditions leading to potential incidents.
