Investigation on Orthogonal Signals for Secure Transmission in Multiuser Communication

Abstract

In this paper the results of investigating various orthogonal signals that can be used as the carriers of users' information in a multiuser communication system are presented, primarily chaotic signals, wavelets, human body signals generated and classical orthogonal sequences like Walsh functions. In particular, the system that uses a combination of these investigated signals is analyzed in the presence of noise, fading and jamming. It was shown that a secure system can be designed that is based on the investigated signals and their combinations. For this purpose a theoretical model of communication systems is developed and then simulated and the results of simulationare presented and discussed. The aim of the research, to investigate possibility of development a secure multiuser system that is resistant to interception, interference and jamming, has been achieved
