His medical his-tory included an aortic valve replacement (Sorin Car-bomedics 19 mm) 9 years ago because of Staphylococcuslugdunensis-related infective endocarditis. Transthoracicand transesophageal echocardiography showed a dilated leftventricle with mildly depressed systolic function and severeaortic regurgitation with large paravalvular leakage. No evi-dence of vegetation or abscess formation was noted. Cine-fluoroscopic imaging revealed abnormal, tilting motion ofthe aortic valve while normal mobility of the occluder wasnoted (Video S1).
