This fact sheet presents data on Alaska DUI arrest rates, by place, from 1987-2022. Place-specific DUI arrest rates were calculated per 100,000 population in Anchorage and 100,000 population outside Anchorage. A steep drop in DUI arrest rates occurred across both Anchorage and outside Anchorage from 2008 through 2014. Anchorage and outside Anchorage DUI arrest rates declined by more than half from 1987-2022, with the outside Anchorage arrest rate undergoing the most dramatic decrease over the period
