Alaska DUI Arrest Rates, by Race: 1990-2022

Abstract

This fact sheet presents data on Alaska DUI arrest rates, by race, from 1990-2022. Race-specific DUI arrest rates were calculated as the number of arrests per 100,000 defined race population (White, Alaska Native/American Indian (AN/AI), Black, and “other” race) in Alaska. DUI arrest rates declined markedly across all racial groups in Alaska from 2008-2014. Whereas the White, AN/AI, and “other” race DUI arrest rates declined over time, the Black DUI arrest rate showed a slight increase over the period
