Applicability of keratin-bark-urea granulate in cereal and spring rape weed control. Part.I. Direct effect of the granulate on weediness

Abstract

В исследованиях определяли противосорняковые свойства кератино-коро-карбамидного гранулята, вносимого в дозах 200-1500 кг/га до посева и в качестве подкормки, в посевах озимой пшеницы, яровой пшеницы, ярового ячменя и ярового рапса. Отметили, что засорение упомянутых растений зависело лишь от доз гранулята, формировалось же независимо от срока его внесения. Гранулят, вносимый в дозе наименее 500 кг/га, существенно понижал число сорняков в посевах исследуемых культур и в этом отношении не уступал применяемым гербицидам. Однако, ни одна из доз оцениваемого средства не уменьшала воздушно- сухой массы сорняков.In the study the authors determined the weed-killing properties of the keratin-bark-urea granulate applied in doses of 200 to 1500 kg/ha in pre-sowing and top-dressing applications, in fields of winter wheat, spring wheat, spring barley, and spring rape. It was found that the weediness of the crops studied depended solely on the dosage of the granulate applied, but was independent of the time of application. The granulate, applied in doses of at least 500 kg/ha, significantly decreased the level of weeds in the fields of the crops studied, the effect being as good as that of commonly used herbicides. None of the doses of the granulate decreased the air-dry mass of the weeds, however
