La competició va iniciar en el moment en el qual es va fabricar el segon cotxe. Des d’aquest moment fins a l’actualitat molts esdeveniments i avenços han tingut lloc en aquest món i avui dia podem gaudir d’un alt nombre de competicions, com la WTCR, de la qual parlarem en aquest treball.
La WTCR ha tingut diversos noms al llarg de la historia, però lo que no ha canviat es que es tracta d’un a competició automobilística de turismes. Aquests turismes han estat sempre regits per una normativa, ja sigui la del grup A o l’actual, la TCR. Als inicis va ser complicat tenir una regularitat i no es podia observar la mateixa seguretat que s’observa avui dia. De ben segur coneixereu alguns dels circuits en els quals es competia als inicis d’aquesta copa. Circuits considerats avui dia com mítics, com pot ser Spa Francorchamps.
Aquest treball tracta sobre l’adaptació d’un vehicle a la copa mundial de turismes. Passarem per diversos punts, com la historia d’aquesta competició, la normativa per la qual es regeix i veurem exemples de quins vehicles hi participen. Finalment, redissenyarem el vehicle seleccionat, un Kia Rio del 2021, per tal de que per normativa sigui capaç de competir a la WTCR. Veurem que per adaptar aquest cotxe es requereixen un seguit de modificacions a nivell de seguretat, dinàmica, la unitat de potència i l’aerodinàmica, a més de l’addició de diferents elements que són obligatoris per normativa, com poden ser l’aleró posterior o el splitter davanter.
Per acaba veurem el procés d’aquesta adaptació realitzada amb Catia i com a punt final veurem els resultats d’aquestes modificacions en uns renderitzats que s’han dut a terme amb KeyShot. Veurem diferents angles del vehicle i més tard el veurem en una diferents localitzacions com una mena d’exposició.The competition started at the time the second car was made. This coursework is about adapting a vehicle to the World Cup. We will go through several points, such as the history of this competition, the regulations that govern it and we will see examples of which vehicles participate. Finally, we will redesign the selected vehicle, a 2021 Kia Rio, so that by regulations it will be able to compete in the WTCR. We will see that to adapt this car requires a series of modifications in terms of safety, dynamics, power unit and aerodynamics, as well as the addition of different elements that are mandatory by regulation, such as the rear spoiler. or the front splitter.
Finally, we will see the process of this adaptation made with Catia and as a final point we will see the results of these modifications in renderings that have been carried out with KeyShot. We will see different angles of the vehicle and later we will see it in different locations as a kind of exhibition
