ResumoO artigo discute a necessidade e as possibilidades para a ampliação da cooperação educacional entre os países membros do Mercosul. Entres os assuntos tratados, destaca-se a análise da situação educacional na America Latina, dando-se ênfase ao estudo comparativo das características dos sistemas de ensino superior dos países do bloco regional.
