Autobiography in the process of training in creative writing workshops

Abstract

Los talleres de escritura creativa subvencionados por el distrito datan del año 2008 cuando la Red Nacional de Talleres de Escritura Creativa RELATA propuso, en el marco del Plan para las Artes, talleres gratuitos abiertos al público con el fin de fomentar la escritura y la industria cultural. En 2013 el Instituto Distrital de las Artes IDARTES expandió esta idea creando la Red de Talleres de Escritura Local, para que existiera un taller por localidad en Bogotá. RELATA ha propuesto unos fundamentos y bases para la realización de estos talleres pero desde entonces no han aparecido documentos que discutan estas estrategias. Lo que se discutirá en el presente documento es la posibilidad de incorporar el género autobiográfico en la formación de nuevos escritores en el marco de los talleres distritales. Se propone una mirada más literaria y comunicativa, y menos terapéutica o historiográfica, en la que dicho género funcionaría como medio propicio entre las experiencias individuales de los participantes (memoria, contexto, intersubjetividades) y las herramientas técnicas que brindan los talleres (técnicas narrativas, construcción de personajes, etc.) con el fin de incentivar estilos personales en la escritura creativa.The creative writing workshops subsidized by the district date back to 2008 where the National Network of Creative Writing Workshops proposed within the framework of the Plan for the Arts free workshops open to the public in order to encourage writing and the cultural industry. What will be discussed in the document is the possibility of incorporating the autobiographical genre into the formation of new writers within the framework of the district workshops. It is proposed a more literary and communicative, less therapeutic or historiographic view, in which the genre would function as an appropriate medium between the participants' individual experiences (memory, context, intersubjectivities) and the technical tools provided by the workshops (narrative techniques , Construction of characters, etc.) in order to encourage personal styles in creative writing
