The goal of this thesis is to elaborate overview of the main aspects of small aviation companies. Definitions of small and medium enterprises as well as its problems are described in the theoretical part. Later in the thesis are discussed more details about running a small aviation company in a structured way. In the end in 5th chapter is a case study based on establishing and running of fictional company. The study analyses this project mainly from the point of view of business plan. This master´s thesis therefore contains theoretical background research as well as factual process and real situation analysis, which utilises mentioned theoretical background.Tato diplomová práce se zabývá popsáním problematiky založení a provozu malé letecké společnosti v České republice, jako určitého typu malého a středního podnikání. Cílem diplomové práce je zpracovat přehled o specifikách a všech hlavních souvislostech tohoto oboru. V teoretické části je potom shrnuta problematika a definice malého a středního podnikání. Dále jsou v této diplomové práci postupně představována specifika oboru s větší hloubkou detailů. Na závěr práce se v 5. kapitole nachází případová studie založení fiktivní firmy. Studie sleduje a analyzuje tento projekt především z hlediska podnikatelského záměru. Práce tedy obsahuje jak teoretickou rešerši dané problematiky, tak i konkrétní postup a analýzu reálné situace, která využívá dané teoretické základny
