    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan PPL dalam mengantisipasi Perubahan iklim, hubungan peranan PPL terhadap Perubahan iklim pada peningkatan produktivitas padi sawah di Kecamatan Sekernan Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Sekernan, lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan secara sengaja dengan pertimbangan adanya Perubahan iklim dalam kegiatan USAhatani padi sawah di Kecamatan Sekernan Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dan memiliki produktivitas USAhatani padi sawah tertinggi dibandingkan dengan kecamatan lain yang ada Kecamatan Sekernan. Data yang dihimpun dari penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian akan disederhanakan dengan menggunakan tabulasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif melalui scoring dan persentase. Untuk melihat pengaruh tinggi atau rendah antara hubungan peranan PPL dalam mengantisipasi Perubahan iklim terhadap produktivitas padi sawah digunakan analisis statistik non parametrik melalui Uji Chi-Square (Siegel, 1997). Penelitian ini memperjelas bahwa peranan PPL dalam mengantisipasi Perubahan iklim yang dilakukan melalui panca USAhatani. Tinggi rendahnya peranan PPL dipengaruhi oleh Perubahan iklim di Kecamatan Sekernan Kabupaten Muaro Jambi

    Neraca transaksi berjalan adalah sebuah alat ukur tentang perdagangan Internasional Indonesia, namun kondisi neraca transaksi berjalan cenderung tidak seimbang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh harga CPO, harga minyak mentah dunia, harga karet dunia dan kurs terhadap defisit neraca transaksi berjalan Indonesia. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dan bersumber dari World Bank dan Bank Indonesia dengan periode tahun 2010Q1-2015Q4.  Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi liniear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa variabel harga CPO, harga minyak mentah dunia, harga karet dunia dan kurs secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap defisit neraca transkasi berjalan Indonesia. Nilai Koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,716 yang berarti pengaruh variasi Perubahan variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen sebesar 71,60% dan sisanya dipengaruhi variabel diluar penelitian. Hasil uji statistik t menunjukkan variabel harga CPO dan kurs berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial sedangkan harga minyak mentah dunia dan harga karet dunia tidak berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial

Penghitungan ICOR berguna untuk melihat efisiensi perekonomian dalam menggunakan barang modal, kecenderungan penggunaan metode produksi padat karya atau padat modal dan melihat besarnya kebutuhan modal dalam perekonomian.Temuan yang menunjukkan bahwa ICOR sektor pertanian relatif kecil membuktikan bahwa sektor pertanian adalah sektor yang paling padat tenaga kerja diantara sektorsektor ekonomi yang ada.     An experiment was conducted to evaluate an improvement of corn peel with ammoniation in sacco digestibility in cow ration. Measured parameters in the current experiment were, in sacco degradation of dry matter, organic matter and crude protein. This study was assigned into completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments were ; R0 = 70% Forage (100% grass + 0% Corn Peel) + 30 % Concentrate, R1 = 70% Forage (75 % grass + 25% Corn Peel) + 30 % Concentrate, R2 = 70% Forage (50% grass + 50% Corn Peel) + 30 % Concentrate, R3 = 70%Forage (25% grass + 75% Corn Peel) + 30 % Concentrate, R4 = 70% Forage (0% grass + 100% Corn Peel) + 30 % Concentrate. Result of this study showed that the treatments were significantly (P<0,05) influence degradation of dry matter, organic matter and crude protein. The degradation after ammoniation significantly increased and were higher than that of without ammoniation.     Student attitude toward subject is strong predictor for academic successful. Student with positive attitude shows good academic achievement and attitude poor achievement. Earlier information about student attitude can optimilize academic successful. Education stake holders can change attitude. Therefore, it needs a measurement to know student attitude toward subject. The purpose of research is to construct scale attitude toward Mathematics and Natural Sciences subject. Instrument should be valid, reliable, and discriminative and practice. Research used psychological measurement method. It used 185 high school students for subject. It used semantif differential method in scale (1-7). There were 68 items in scale. Factorial validity confirmed three factor construct a scale. Convergent validity showed there was positive correlation among scale component. Scale had internal consistency reliability 0,84 and test parallel reliability 0,92. All items had discrimination power D > 4,00. Final scale uses 12 items. Instruction and scoring can be done easily. Scale has good psychometric properties. It has good validity, satisfied reliability, high discrimination power for items, and practice in used

    The research was conducted to investigate dry matter degradation and VFA production of fermented cocoa pods by Phanerochaete chrysosporium. The experiment method Completely Randomized Block Design with two factors: three treatment mineral supplementation and four treatment storage length. The result showed that mineral administration had no effect to dry matter degradation, VFA production, ammonia concentration. Fermentation length affected volatile fatty acids with the highest production at day 10.     Penggantian Sebagian Ransum Komersil Oleh Jagung Dan Pengaruhnya Terhadap Kualitas Fisik Daging Broiler

    The study aimed to evaluate the physical quality of broiler meat that give commercial ration partially substituted by corn. The study used 80 broiler chickens aged 21 days. Chicken is divided into 4 (four) groups of body weight as replicates, each group consisted of 5 replicates chickens. The treatments were given in this study consisted of substitution of 0%, 10, 20% and 30% by commercial ration of corn. The results showed that the use of corn as a substitute for commercial ration significantly (P <0.05) to the water holding capacity, cooking loss and meatbone ratio, but not significant (P> 0.05) on the pH value of the meat. Water holding capacity on the use of corn 30% (34.40%) is significantly higher than the use of maize 0% (15.7%), 10% (22.33%) and 20% (23.78%). Water holding capacity on the use of corn 10% and 20% in commercial diet showed no significant difference. Cooking loss meat on the use of corn 30% (26.32%) is lower than the use of maize 0% (39.47%), 10% (34.21%) and 20% (36.11%), while the meatbone ratio treatment 10% corn (3.83) is higher than the treatment 20% and 30% corn. The range of pH values ​​in this study was 6.5 to 6.8 with the average of 6.63. Substitution of commercial rations by as much as 30% corn gives the value of the high water holding capacity and low cooking loss, while meatbone ratio highest found in 10% of substitution treatment

    The objective of the research was to study the influence of sengon leaf supplementation on the digestibility and fermentability of urea treated bagasse using with in vitro technique. The matter were used in the research was the bagasse-urea treated which had good degradation characteristic which origin from the first research. Completely randomized design with five treatments of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% sengon leaf supplementation and four replications were used in this experiments. Parameter measured were the dry metter and organic matter digestibility, acidity degree, ammonia (N-NH3) and VFA production of in vitro test. The result showed that the sengon leaf supplementation was significant effect (P>0.05) on the digestibility and fermentability bagasse-urea treated with in vitro technique. It could be concluded that bagasse treated of 6% urea solution that used in the second step research could be increased their digestibility and fermentability by supplementation of 10% sengon leaf

    The in Vitro Evaluation of Wild Banana (Musa Salaccensis ZOLL) as Ruminant Feed

    The objective of the present study is to evaluate parts of wild banana plant as a ruminant feed through the in vitro experiment. Parts of wild banana plant (pseudostem, leaves, fronds and banana stalks) were collected from two districts in Jambi Province. Wild banana leaves have similar nutritive value to Napier grass but their dry matter percentage was less than 10% resulted less benefit for ruminant feed. The mean values for the in vitro dry matter (DM) digestibility of pseudostem, fronds, leaves and banana stalks were 35%, 33%, 26% and 40 % respectively, while the mean values for the in vitro organic matter (OM) digestibility of pseudostem, fronds, leaves and banana stalks were 40%, 42%, 34% and 48 % respectively. It can be concluded that wild banana could be potentially used in the ration of ruminants
