Optimizing the number and location of warehouses in logistics networks considering the optimal delivery routes and set level of reserve stock

Forming the optimal structure of a warehouse network is one of the main strategic tasks in arranging an efficient logistics network. The suggested mathematical model and iterative method allow an optimal number and location of warehouses (in the area served by the logistics network) to be defined – with the minimum of total logistics costs for shipping of goods from suppliers through warehouses to customers. The focus is on optimal delivery routes and the optimal level to set for reserve stock contained in the storage network

SUVREMENO PROMIŠLJANJE TEMELJNIH FENOMENA LOGISTIČKOGA SUSTAVA

Premda je logistika dugo bila zapostavljana kao čimbenik efikasnosti i efektivnosti odvijanja procesa kretanja proizvoda, usluga i informacija, unutar i između poslovnih pothvata istoga ili različitih narodnih gospodarstava, danas logističke aktivnosti predstavljaju jedno od najvažnijih područja povećanja efikasnosti i efektivnosti poslovnih pothvata i narodnih gospodarstava, a logistički sustavi postaju sve složeniji, podrazumijevajući efikasnu koordiniranost i organizaciju velikoga broja logističkih fenomena, pri čemu se ruše barijere između različitih poslovnih funkcija unutar poslovnih pothvata te unutar i između različitih narodnih gospodarstava, odnosno logističkih sustava. Ta se tvrdnja, nakon koncizna obrazloženih temeljnih obilježja logistike, dokazuje definiranjem i elaboriranjem najvažnijih značajki i funkcija podsustava logističkoga sustava, kako bi se temeljem sustavnoga pristupa sagledali bitni čimbenici afirmacije, rasta razvoja temeljnih logističkih podsustava. Koncizna su elaborirani važniji logistički fenomeni najvažnijih logističkih podsustava: megalogistika, globalna logistika, makro - mikro - metalogistika, inter i intralogistika, servisna logistika, informacijska logistika, menadžment logistika, primarna logistika, sekundarna logistika, tercijarna logistika, kvartarna logistika, kvintarna logistika i logistika održivoga razvoja. U nastavku se e/aborira poslovna politika logističkih vrtki temeljem analize njihovih osnovnih pet potpolitika: kadrovske politike, tržišne politike (marketinga), proizvodne politike, financijske politike i razvojne politike

Optimalisation of Packing Material Supply in Company Epcos s. r. o.

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na optimalizaci řízení zásob obalového materiálu ve zvoleném podniku. V první části práce jsou zpracovány teoretické poznatky dané problematiky, v praktické části je analyzován současný stav podniku a pomocí analýzy ABC jsou navrženy možná řešení řízení zásob jednotlivých kategorií. Dalším výstupem práce je navržení efektivní organizace výdeje obalů do spotřeby.This Thesis is focused on optimalisation of packaging material supply management in the selected company. In the first part the thesis compiles theoretical information of the given problems, in the practical part is analysed the contemporary condition and by means of analysis ABC are proposed possible method of solution of inventory management for the individual categories. The next exit of the work is a proposal of an efective organization of packaging issues to consumption.

The role and current status of IFRS in the completion of national rules: Evidence from Greece

Law 4308/2014 is the main regulation that transposed Accounting Directive 2013/34 of the EU into national law in Greece. This short paper summarises the underlying background and the process followed up to the issuance of this Law. It also outlines the key accounting principles introduced with this Law and how they compare with IFRS. This brief analysis indicates that, to a large extent, Greek accounting standards have now been aligned with IFRS. Given the preceding substantial differences between Greek accounting Laws and IFRS, this Law introduced significant changes to the accounting environment for non-listed companies in Greece, aiming at improving accounting quality and enhancing accounting comparability between listed and non-listed companies

Bakalárska práca sa zameriava na analýzu práce výrobných a skladových manipulantov v spoločnosti Nobel Automotive Slovakia s.r.o., poukazuje na procesy, ktoré predstavujú plytvanie a zároveň na priestor pre následné návrhy na zlepšenie procesov. Práca obsahuje základné pojmy logistiky, vysvetľuje plytvanie a taktiež popisuje aplikovanú metódu Štúdium práce. Na základe teoretických poznatkov analyzuje súčasný stav fungovania interných logistických činností a toku materiálu v spoločnosti. V závere práce sú navrhnuté riešenia, ktoré by mali napomôcť k eliminácii plytvania a tak k zefektívneniu sledovaných logistických činností.The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the work of the manufacturing and warehouse operators in manufacturing company Nobel Automotive Slovakia s.r.o. and points to the process wastage gaps and introduces suggestions for process improvements. The thesis includes basic concepts of logistics, explains wastage and also describes applied methods Study of Labour. On the basis of theoretical knowledge it describes the current state of the internal logistics activities and material flow in the company. In conclusion of thesis are proposed solutions, which should help to eliminate wastage and streamline monitored logistics activities.
