    This article discusses the topic of politically motivated manipulation of time continuity in shared narratives. It examines the consequences of the irrational fusion of fragments of the stories of different protagonists who live in different historical periods, sometimes separated by centuries. The integration of bits and pieces of the myths borrowed from the past into the narratives of the present can take on psychotic proportions. It can seriously damage the living tissue of personal and collective memory. The story of the past, told in a certain way, can influence the self-perception of people, making them feel partly like heroes with a special mission, as well as victims, threatened by a hostile world, isolated, acting in response to the past, and therefore out of touch with reality. The result is the impossibility of distinguishing current events as a set of specific political and psychological forces that require a specific response to an urgent situation (Kalinowska, 2012). Current threats are thus perceived not only in their specificity, but in constant vigilance in the light of past traumas and illogical linking of the past, present, and future. The goal of this article is the understanding of this process with the help of Vamik VolkanÔÇÖs psychoanalytic concept of ÔÇťtime collapseÔÇŁ (Volkan & Javakhishvili, 2022), and Michael RothbergÔÇÖs theory of the ÔÇťimplicated subjectÔÇŁ (2019).     Drawing on narrative accounts of French business school staff and faculty about their experiences and observations of actions taken by different organizational actors in response to a trigger event, we theorize the intricate connections between organizational practices conducive to sexism and the persistence of silence around such practices. Specifically, empirical investigation demonstrates how managerial practices such as the allocation of organizational tasks and valorization of individual contributions prompt organizational members to assume a variety of stances toward gender issues. The enactment of these stances in various interactions provokes organizational counteraction in the form of sanctions, the establishment of a hermetic and formulaic communication regime, and public reinforcement of meritocratic narratives. This results in silence around organizational sexism manifesting as a collective and individual inability and unwillingness to react. This study contributes to a broader and rapidly developing literature on sexism in academic settings and the phenomenon of silencing in organizations by shedding light on the mechanisms of its persistence

    Akademisierung des Hebammenwesens: Eine empirische Studie am Beispiel Bayerns

    Bayern hat als letztes Bundesland die Vollakademisierung des Hebammenberufs umgesetzt. Diese Umbruchsphase beschreibt die Studie HebSzen im vorliegenden Band. Die Autorin geht dabei der Frage nach dem Verh├Ąltnis von au├čerklinischem Hebammenwissen und akademischer Lehre nach. Empirisch erforscht sie, wie praktisch konserviertes Wissen bisher in die Lehre eingeflossen ist und in Zukunft im Hochschulkontext weitergegeben werden kann. HebSzen schildert die Umbruchphase des Hebammenwesens zum Zeitpunkt der Vollakademisierung des Hebammenberufs. Da Bayern als letztes Bundesland die akademische Qualifikation von werdenden Hebammen umgesetzt hat, bildet dies den Kern des Forschungsinteresses. Auf Basis eines professions- und wissenssoziologischen Ansatzes erforscht die Autorin empirisch mit Mixed-Methods wie au├čerklinisch konserviertes Hebammenwissen in der Vergangenheit in die Lehre an Hebammenschulen eingeflossen ist und zuk├╝nftig im akademischen Kontext an den Hochschulen vermittelt werden kann. Das Ergebnis zeigt, dass sich die hebammengeleitete au├čerklinische Geburtshilfe von der klinischen Geburtshilfe unterscheidet, jedoch bisher kaum an bayerischen Hebammenschulen unterrichtet wurde. Die Untersuchung macht zudem deutlich, dass es notwendig ist, Hebammen f├╝r die au├čerklinische Geburtshilfe zu sensibilisieren und qualifizieren, da die Nachfrage das Angebot deutlich ├╝bersteigt. Hier besteht jedoch ein Dilemma, da ohnehin kaum akademisierte Hebammen in Bayern au├čerklinisch t├Ątig sind und die Versorgungsl├╝cke bei ├ťbergang in die Hochschullehre noch vergr├Â├čern w├╝rden. Eine m├Âgliche Br├╝ckenl├Âsung f├╝r dieses Problem kann aber sein, dass au├čerklinisch t├Ątige Hebammen ihr Wissen im Hochschulkontext in Form von Fallbeispielen, als Autor*innen f├╝r Szenarien sowie im Rahmen von Gastvortr├Ągen weitergegen.
