Study the assimilation capacity of Gharehsou River using Qual2kw model

In this study, the assimilative capacity changes of the Gharehsou River has been studied. Gharehsou River, in the East of Ardabil province of Iran in its flow path, is the entrance and discharge domestic sewage, industrial wastewater and agricultural drainage and for determining of assimilative capacity of this river, first, the calibrated model of Qual2kw simulated parameters change of NO3, BOD, DO, pH and temperature for two months of January and July, and then it was compared with observational data in Aladizgeh, Samian, Anzob and ArbabKandi stations. Given the mean correlation coefficient R2 and the mean average absolute error (MAE) for two months, the best simulation for pH (R2=0.43 and MAE=0.95) and then respectively, for temperature (R2=0.56 and MAE=5.75), DO (R2=0.69 and MAE=1.75), BOD (R2=0.75 and MAE=5.78), NO3 (R2=0.39 and MAE=2.17), have been done and with the exception of nitrate, for other parameters, the Simulation in July was better than January. Results showed that measured and modeled values have a good agreement with each other and the simulation in these parameters has been done well

Evaluation of brand equity in software companies: Case Study of Chargon

IT industry especially the software industry is of the growing industries in the world which has grown considerably in recent years. In such circumstances, there will be some companies which want to differentiate themselves from competitors and create a unique and favorable position in the minds of their own enterprise customers; one way to create a sustainable competitive advantage in these mar-kets that already has been less discussed is the creation of brand equity. Thus, the aim of this study is to evaluate brand equity in software companies that Chargon Company was selected. The statistical population included managers of Chargon’s subsidiary companies and their users that given the un-limited society, Cochrane formula has been used in unlimited population to determine sample size. Due to the minimal amount of sample that is 386 questionnaires, 500 questionnaires were distributed in the population. Structural equation modeling approach and SmartPLS.2 were used to analyzing collected data. The results show that emotional variables affect value on brand equity is 0.64. Also functional variables affect value on brand equity is 0.89.market behavior variable plays a positive mediating role between emotional variables and brand equity. On the other hand market behavior plays a negative mediating role between emotional variables and brand equity. Considering t-values higher than 1.96, the significance of relationships obtained is confirmed in 95% confidence level. Transfusion-related acute lung injury in multiple traumatized patients

Background: Many of the multiple traumatized patients who refer to the hospital need transfusion. Transfusion-related acute lung injury (TRALI) is a serious clinical syndrome associated with the transfusion of plasma-containing blood components. In the article, we present a case of TRALI following transfusion of packed red blood cells Case Presentation: A 24 year old male referred to Shahid Beheshti Hospital due to multiple trauma with left femoral and humerus fractures. Due to severe anemia he received 3 units of packed red blood cells. The symptoms of TRALI began 2 hours after transfusion. He was transferred to intensive care unit (ICU) due to metabolic acidosis and severe hypoxia. The TRALI was confirmed after ruling out the other probable pulmonary diseases. He recovered and was discharged. Conclusion: Transfusion related acute lung injury should be considered in any case receiving transfusion of plasma containing blood components
