    Get PDF
This is an article in the field of mineral processing engineering. The gold mineral in an arsenic bearing high sulfur gold mine has a close symbiotic relationship with pyrite and arsenopyrite, and the recovery rate of concentrate gold is not ideal in the actual production process. In order to improve the recovery rate of concentrate gold and take into account the grade of concentrate gold, according to the characteristics of this mineral, the flotation process parameters and process are obtained through system condition test, flotation time test and beneficiation test, and then the open circuit test and closed circuit test are carried out to obtain better flotation indexes. In order to further improve the flotation index, the regrinding and flotation test of flotation middling is carried out, and the cyanide leaching test of middling regrinding flotation tailings is carried out. Finally, the satisfactory index of 91.94% of the total recovery of gold dressing and metallurgy is obtained

This is an article in the field of mineral processing engineering. The main valuable elements in a lead-zinc mine in Hebei are lead and zinc, with grades of 1.07% and 2.08%, respectively. Lead in the ore mainly occurs in sulfide galena, and lead-containing minerals such as galena, lead sulfate and lead jarosite. Zinc mainly occurs in sulfide sphalerite, accounting for 66.96% of the total zinc, followed by zinc oxide minerals, with high zinc oxidation rate. In the experimental study, the process of preferential flotation of lead and then zinc at the condition of grinding fineness of -200 mesh content of 65% was determined. The yield of lead concentrate is 1.74%, the grades of lead, zinc and copper in lead concentrate are 51.73%, 10.86% and 3.81%, respectively, and the recoveries are 83.93%, 8.98% and 68.20%, respectively. The yield of zinc concentrate is 2.26%, the grades of lead, zinc and copper in zinc concentrate are 1.25%, 51.64% and 0.73%, respectively, and the recoveries are 2.63%, 55.42% and 16.97%, respectively

This is an article in the field of process mineralogy. A quartz vein type gold deposit in Shandong has a gold grade of 2.51 g/t. In order to further develop the deposit and study the beneficiation process, the process mineralogy of the mineral was carried out. The technical methods involved in this study include multi-element chemical analysis, chemical phase analysis, optical microscope identification, X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, automatic quantitative mineral analysis (BPMA), scanning electron microscope energy spectrometer (SEM-EDS) analysis, etc. The results show that: (1) most of the gold minerals in the ore are silver-gold, and a small amounts of gold, silver and natural gold are occasionally found; (2) The embedding relationship between gold minerals and sulfides such as pyrite in the ore is very close. Pyrite is the main carrier mineral of gold minerals, and the proportion of single and exposed gold in the ore is high, which is 58.96%. The proportion of gold encapsulated in sulfides such as pyrite is 39.84%, and the proportion of gold encapsulated in gangue minerals is 1.20%; (3) The particle size distribution of gold minerals in the ore is uneven, and the overall particle size is relatively fine. Gold particles with a particle size larger than 0.020 mm can be seen in the ore, with an occupancy rate of 22.08%. Gold minerals with a particle size less than 0.020 mm have an occupancy rate of 77.92%, with an occupancy rate of 24.83% for micro gold minerals with a particle size less than 0.005 mm and 0.35% for sub micron sized gold minerals with a particle size less than 0.001 mm

Objective: To investigate the effect of small needle-knife therapy in people with painful knee osteoarthritis. Design Pilot randomised, controlled trial. Setting. Rehabilitation hospital. Subjects. In-patients with osteo-arthritis of the knee. Interventions: Either 1-3 small needle-knife treatments over 7 days or oral Celecoxib. All patients stayed in hospital three weeks, receiving the same mobility-focused rehabilitation. Measures. Oxford Knee Score (OKS), gait speed and kinematics were recorded at baseline, at 3 weeks (discharge) and at three-months (OKS only). Withdrawal from the study, and adverse events associated with the small needle knife therapy were recorded. Results: 83 patients were randomized: 44 into the control group, of whom 10 were lost by 3 weeks and 12 at 3 months; 39 into the experimental group of whom 8 were lost at 3 weeks and 3 months. The mean (SE) OKS scores at baseline were Control 35.86 ( 1.05), Exp 38.38 ( 0.99); at three weeks 26.64 (0.97) and 21.94 (1.23); and at three months 25.83 (0.91) and 20.48 (1.14) The mean (SE) gait speed at baseline was 1.07 (0.03) m/sec (Control) and 0.98 (0,03), and at three weeks was 1.14 (0.03) and 1.12 (0.03) (p < 0.05). Linear mixed model statistical analysis showed that the improvements in the experimental group were statistically significant for total OKS score at discharge and three months. Conclusions: Small needle-knife therapy added to standard therapy for patients with knee osteoarthritis, was acceptable, safe, and reduced pain and improved global function on the Oxford Knee Score. Further research is warranted

Experimental study on thiosulfate leaching of gold from a high copper gold concentrate

    Get PDF
The conventional cyanide leaching process is used to extract gold from a high copper gold concentrate. Because the copper associated minerals consume sodium cyanide in large quantities, the cost of the reagents is high and the economic benefit is not ideal. At the same time, a large number of cyanide tail slag are produced, which brings a series of environmental problems. In order to solve the environmental problems caused by excessive sodium cyanide consumption and cyanogen slag, the feasibility of leaching gold by thiosulfate in copper ammonia system was studied. The gold leaching rate of thiosulfate was increased to more than 90% by using the direct thiosulfate leaching process and pretreatment thiosulfate leaching process, which was close to the gold leaching index of sodium cyanide at the production site

In the process of cyanidation of gold concentrate from a smelting company, the content of copper and zinc in the liquid gradually increased. In production, acidizing process is used to treat the lean solution from high copper concentrate, and mixed products containing copper, zinc and other metals are produced. In this paper, the pH value of zinc precipitation is 6.0 and the pH value of copper precipitation is 3.0 through theoretical calculation and experiment. The separation of copper and zinc in the lean solution is realized successfully. The zinc product with grade of 42.97% and the copper product with grade of 58.33% are produced
