Principles of fun in Collectible Card Games and their Influence on the Players Life

Práce Principy zábavnosti sběratelských karetních her a jejich vliv na život hráčů se zabývá herní disciplínou sběratelské karetní hry. V úvodu této práci jsou popsány základní pravidla a obvyklosti, se kterými sběratelské karetní hry pracují. V teoretickém bloku práce popisuje obecné charakteristiky hry, které čerpá z knihy Homo Ludens. Teoretický blok popisuje hru tak, jak o ní obyčejně nebývá přemýšleno. Výraznou částí práce je výzkum, který probíhal v období března 2014. Výzkum byl prováděn metodou rozhovorů s návodem, tedy metodou kvalitativní. Výzkum se zaměřil na dlouhodobé hráče karetní hry Magic the Gathering a probíhal převážně v Pražské herně sběratelských karetních her. Výsledky analýzy výzkumu jsou rozděleny do dvou bloků a těmi jsou: Zábavnost sběratelských karetních her a Vliv komunity na život hráčů. V prvním bloku analýzy se práce zabývá tím, co hráče na hrách baví, jaké mají pocity ze soutěžení, jak na ně působí faktor štěstí a smůly a také co pro ně znamená sběratelství. V druhém bloku analýzy se práce zabývá vztahy v komunitě hráčů, utvářením a udržováním této komunity a také formováním přátelství formou hraní a cestování. V závěru práce je shrnut postup výzkumu a je zde několik myšlenek vyplývajících z odpovědí dotazovaných informátorů.The bachelor thesis Principles of fun in collectible card games and their influence on the players life is about a hobby game discipline called Collectible Card Games or Trading Card Games. Basic rules of collectible card games are described in the introduction. Theoretical block describes game in a different way, than people usually thought about it. Important part of thesis is empirical research which conducted in March 2014. This research was performed using the method called interview with manual which belongs under the qualitative methods. Research is focused on long- term Magic the Gathering players and took place in Prague game centre. Results of this research are divided to two major sections. First section is Fun and collectible card games and second section is Influence of community on player's life. First section is focusing on what is fun about gaming, why competition is important, factor of luck in games and what having a collection means for them. Second section is about relationship between the players, formation and maintenance of community and also about traveling and friendship. Whole research procedure is summarized in conclusion. Sorting Algorithms in C Language

Tato práce se zabývá řadicími algoritmy z pohledu jejich studia. Jejím účelem je poskytnout studentům materiály, které jim mohou pomoci v pochopení těchto algoritmů. Práce se skládá z přepsání části studijní opory předmětu Algoritmy do jazyka C, vytvoření programu pro testování algoritmů z opory a vytvoření animace demonstrující činnost vybraných řadicích algoritmů.This thesis deals with the sorting algorithms in the context of studying them. The purpose is to provide the students with materials, which can help them with the understanding of these algorithms. The work consists of the rewriting of the study-supporting materials into the C language, the creation of a test program for the appropriate algorithms and the creation of an animation to demonstrate the functionality of the selected algorithms.

Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) of 316L Stainless Steel Samples Manufactured by Material Extrusion Technology

Bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem izostatického lisování za tepla na korozivzdornou ocel 316L z materiálu BASF Ultrafuse 316L vyrobenou 3D tiskovou metodou FDM. V teoretické části je popsána metoda FDM, specifikovány vlastnosti a požadované úpravy materiálu Ultrafuse 316L. Praktická část zahrnuje postup přípravy a tisku, porovnání snímků mikrostruktury referenčních a HIPovaných vzorků a uvedení výsledků analýzy hustoty a porozity. V závěru práce jsou zhodnoceny výsledky měření a porovnány s předpokládanými hodnotami snížení pórovitosti.The bachelor thesis deals with the effect of isostatic hot pressing on stainless steel 316L from BASF Ultrafuse 316L material produced by FDM 3D printing. The theoretical part describes the FDM method, specifies the properties and required modifications of the Ultrafuse 316L material. The practical part includes the preparation and printing procedure, comparison of microstructure images of reference and HIPped samples and presentation of the results of density and porosity analysis. Quality of services and experience qualify for next generation networks

Práce shrnuje parametry provozu pro hodnocení přístupových sítí nové generace. Jsou zde zmíněny parametry pro řízení kvality služeb a parametry pro měření kvality zážitků. Je rozebráno nařízení EU pro vysokorychlostní Internet v ČR. V praktické části jsou porovnány výsledky měření parametru Jitter při implementaci řízení kvality služeb a bez. Také jsou porovnány teoretické a praktické přenosové rychlosti fyzických portů. Součástí práce je dotazník zaměřený na kvalitu zážitku předložené video sekvence v závislosti na deformaci stopy a změně rozlišení.The thesis sums up the traffic parameters for the evaluation of next-generation access networks. There are mentioned parameters for service quality management and parameters for measuring the quality of experience. The EU regulation on High Speed Internet in the Czech Republic is analyzed. The practical part compares the results between the implementation of the quality management of services and without implementation. Also there is comparing theoretical and practical transmission rates of physical ports. Part of the thesis is a questionnaire focused on the quality of experience of the video sequence.

Design of small-size data networks with advanced services

Cílem této práce je obeznámit se s problematikou návrhu podnikové sítě a typickými síťovými službami, které jsou v těchto sítích požadovány. Tato práce obsahuje základní popis hierarchie sítě a síťových prvků. Zároveň definuje jednotlivé síťové služby a jejich použití. V druhé části práce je naznačen postup při návrhu podnikové sítě a implementace služeb. Dále práce popisuje reálný návrh laboratorní úlohy a její praktickou realizaci. Součástí práce je i podrobný návod k vypracování laboratorní úlohy.The main objective of this thesis is to get acquainted with the field of designing professional data networks and with typical network service required at these networks. A basic description of network hierarchy and of network elements is part of this thesis. At the same time, individual network services and their usage are defined. At the latter part of the thesis there is a suggestion of design creation steps and of service implementation. Further on, the thesis describes a real design of a laboratory task and it’s practical implementation. Detailed guidelines how to complete a laboratory task are part of this thesis.

Monitoring of Wild Animal Species in the Czech Republic

AbstractIn the paper, the method of data collection, processing and visualization of the occurrence of non-indigenous and endangered animal species in the Czech Republic is described. Our new software enables easy data entry about the observation of monitored species to the expert public. The data obtained is then used by expert and scientific institutions in order to search for optimal solutions of nature protection and population management and results are open to the public.This analytic and software solution was developed by the Department of Information Technologies, Czech University of Life Sciences; the data has been also used by the Forestry and Wood Faculty and the Faculty of Life Sciences
