Over 40 pieces of bony artifacts from the Upper Pleistocene
and Holocene strata of the Vindija Cave have been discovered.
Bony artifacts from the stratum Gi-F^ have Lower Aurignacian
(I) features, which was concluded on the basis of typological analysis.
The artifacts from the stratum Fj,.-E, have Upper Aurignacian
(II) features, and the artifacts from the stratum D belong
to the Gravettian. Several bony points from the uppermost
part of the stratum D, then from the stratum B, have typological
characteristics of the Mesolithic, Neolithic and Eneolithic. The
bony point with split basis from the stratum G, is from the Aurignacian
I, and it is analogous to similar artifacts from MokriŔka
jama in Slovenia. Most of the bony points belong to the Aurignacian
II (23 pieces), and they are completely analogous, by their
typology and dimensions to the bony points from PotoÄka zijalka
in Slovenia
