Variational Analysis and Generalized Equations in Electronics
International audienceThe paper is devoted to the study of the Aubin/Lipschitz-like property and the isolated calmness of a particular non-monotone generalized equation arising in electronics. The variational and non-smooth analysis is applied in the theory of non-regular electrical circuits involving electronic devices like ideal diodes, practical diodes, DIACs, silicon controlled rectifiers (SCR), and transistors. We also discuss the relationship of our results to the ones using classical techniques from (smooth) analysis and provide a simulation for several simple electrical circuits which are chosen in order to cover the most common non-smooth elements in electronics. The simulations of the electrical circuits discussed in this paper are performed by using Xcos (a component of Scilab)

Valorisation fonctionnelle et antioxydante des Ă©pidermes de pommes Golden Delicious
Apples are considered beneficial to health, because of their content of phenolic compounds that confer the label "health food". Fruits and vegetables food processes generate byproducts that are considered worthless by industrial. However, given the volumes generated, they are rich sources of nutrients.One possible way of valorization of these byproducts is the reintroduction of food as ingredient, to propose fortified foods with functional molecules. To do this, two approaches have been explored: the use of apple peels powders to stabilize an emulsion and the extraction of phenolic compounds by supercritical CO2+ethanol. This work also discusses solutions to remedy the enzymatic browning, such as heat treatment and the addition of naturally rich fruit powders as anti-browning agents.Apples preparation phases are real transformation steps which it’s necessary to optimize and master to preserve all the antioxidant properties of fruits and vegetables byproducts. Our works also highlight more functional properties of apple peels as a stabilizing emulsions agent. The impact of extraction parameters was demonstrated by the exploration of several conditions such as the loaded weight, the grinding, the protocol as well as the temperature and composition of supercritical fluids.Les pommes sont considérées comme bénéfiques pour la santé, de part leur teneur en polyphénols qui leur confèrent l’étiquette "d’aliment santé". Les procédés de transformation agroalimentaire des fruits et légumes génèrent des coproduits qui sont considérés comme sans valeur par les industriels. Or, au regard des volumes générés, ce sont des sources abondantes de nutriments.Une voie possible de valorisation de ces coproduits est la réintroduction dans des produits alimentaires en tant qu’ingrédient, de façon à proposer des aliments enrichis en molécules fonctionnelles. Pour ce faire, deux voies ont été explorées: l’utilisation de poudres d’épidermes de pommes pour stabiliser une émulsion et l’extraction des polyphénols au moyen de la technologie à base de CO2 supercritique. Ce travail examine également des solutions pour remédier au problème de brunissement enzymatique, comme le traitement thermique et l’addition de poudres de fruits naturellement riches en agents antibrunissement.Les phases de préparation des pommes sont de réelles étapes de transformation qu’il faut optimiser et maîtriser afin de préserver toutes les propriétés antioxydantes des coproduits végétaux. Nos travaux ont également permis de mettre en évidence des propriétés plus fonctionnelles des pelures de pommes, comme agent stabilisant d’émulsions. No country for old auteurs : the notion of the auteur revisited through the cinema of the coen brothers
Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Comunicação e ExpressĂŁo, Programa de PĂłs-Graduação em InglĂŞs: Estudos LinguĂsticos e Literários, FlorianĂłpolis, 2016The present thesis consists of an investigation concerning auteurism, as a critical practice, scrutinizing two Coen Brothers' films, The Big Lebowski (1998) and No Country for Old Men (2007), as objects of study. Auteurism is reviewed over the years, from the period prior to Cahiers du CinĂ©ma to its takeover and undertaking during the 1950s in France; auteur criticism is also analyzed in the U.S. and in the U.K. An overview and focused features are rendered by critics and theoreticians who formulated, defended, and attacked this critical approach, it also questions what an auteur is. The following chapters aim at analyzing the two films abovementioned by the Coens, its characters and shot analyses, using auteurist perspectives allied to other theoretical standpoints, such as poststructuralism and intertextuality; therefore, the notions of "work," "text," and "author" are studied under the essays by Roland Barthes, Michel Foucault and Julia Kristeva. Moreover, adaptation is also tackled, acknowledged as both a process and a product, by Linda Hutcheon.Resumo : Esta dissertação consiste em uma investigação no que diz respeito o autorismo, como uma prática crĂtica, escrutinizando dois filmes dos irmĂŁos Coen, O Grande Lebowski (1998) e Onde os Fracos NĂŁo TĂŞm Vez (2007), como objetos de estudo. O autorismo Ă© revisado atravĂ©s dos anos, a partir do perĂodo anterior Ă Cahiers du CinĂ©ma atĂ© os anos em que a revista assumiu o controle e encarregou-se de tal prática na França dos anos de 1950; a crĂtica de autor tambĂ©m Ă© analisada nos Estados Unidos e no Reino Unido. Uma visĂŁo geral e seus aspectos mais detalhados sĂŁo oferecidos por crĂticos e teĂłricos que se debruçaram formulando, defendendo, ou criticando essa abordagem crĂtica, objetiva-se tambĂ©m questionar o que Ă© um autor no cinema.
