Two-body wrong-sign mixing and CP violation

We describe LHCb measurements for D0D^0--Dˉ0{\bar{D}}^0 mixing parameters and searches for CPCP violation using "wrong-sign" D0→K+π−D^0\to K^+\pi^- two-body decays. LHCb provides the world's most precise measurements of the mixing parameters to date, using 3 fb−1fb^{-1} of pppp collision data. By measuring the mixing parameters separately for D0D^0 and Dˉ0{\bar{D}}^0, and allowing for CPCP violation, the LHCb results also place the world's most stringent constraints on the CPCP violation parameters, ∣q/p∣|q/p| and ADA_D, from a single experiment.Comment: 10 pages, 6 figures, 1 table, to appear in the proceedings of The 6th International Workshop on Charm Physics (CHARM 2013

Dynkin games with Poisson random intervention times

    Get PDF
This paper introduces a new class of Dynkin games, where the two players are allowed to make their stopping decisions at a sequence of exogenous Poisson arrival times. The value function and the associated optimal stopping strategy are characterized by the solution of a backward stochastic differential equation. The paper further applies the model to study the optimal conversion and calling strategies of convertible bonds, and their asymptotics when the Poisson intensity goes to infinity
