     The policy taken by the state regarding the education sector is implementing distance learning (online learning). Thus both students, students, teachers, and lecturers must adapt to these conditions so that learning continues to run as it should. In relation to this phenomenon, the purpose of this research is to identify and describe models of information-seeking behavior, especially by Distance Learning Lecturers or (PJJ) at the Faculty of Law, Sosial and Political Science (FHISIP), Universitas Terbuka in meeting their information needs. The research used descriptive qualitative design. The subjects in this study were FHISIP Lecturers at the Universitas Terbuka while the object was the information seeking behavior of FHISIP Lecturers at the Open University. Overall, the data analysis technique performed begins with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. As for data validation, researchers used triangulation. This research found that the roles and tasks carried out by the pjj lecturers sequentially are: as educators, researchers, and community service as well as carrying out activities to support distance learning. Of all these roles, the intensity of information seeking is highest in the first role, namely as an educator because the process of fulfilling information needs is carried out every day and The characteristics of the information needs of informants as a whole are based on age, area of specialization, recent education and experience. Based on these factors, it can be concluded that senior informants have a wider range of information needs than junior informants

    This research investigates the influence the Regional Gross Domestic Product to employment absorption. The problems in the Lampung Province are low employment absorption, and fluctuated Regional Gross Domestic Product growth . It is not yet known how the contribution Regional Gross Domestic Product to employment absorption The explanatory method is applied in this research which aims to clarify the causal relationship among the variables and to test the hypotheses. The research used time series secondary data of 30 years and was analysed by multivariate linear regression analysis with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) technique using Eviews program of version 7.0.The findings of this research show that the employment absorption also depends on Regional Gross Domestic Product. This research also reveals that the Regional Gross Domestic Product is a strategy to improve the employment absorption in Lampung Province

    This paper examines more about how transcendental communication is part of communication practices that are never separated in daily life as a Muslim who carries out the commands of Allah swt. By using the descriptive qualitative method, this paper presents a narrated study through collecting data from relevant references. The results of the study show that transcendental communication in prayer can be likened to God as the receiver (communicant), while the actor acts as the sender of the message (communicator), the source is from the perpetrators or the events experienced, the medium (channel) is prayer or prayer. , (effect) is the peace of mind that we will get or other symbols and signs that God sends to humans. The method of philology research uses a single edition model, using the workings of the diplomatic edition. This manuscript's writing in Arabic is included in Ilmu Kalam, which needs a particular explanation from Ulama Ilmu Kalam. The illumination of the manuscript appears simple, using European paper. From colophon, we can see the amount of attention and appreciation of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II to Palembang Sultanate collection's religious manuscripts

    Di era indutri 4.0 ini, pentingnya dukungan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang memiliki kualitas professional menjadi kunci utama dalam tumbuh kembang suatu organisasi, sehingga perlu bagi suatu organisasi dalam hal ini instansi pemerintah untuk bekerja sama dengan semua elemen fungsi manajemen untuk mengembangkan kinerja SDM nya secara terus menerus. Setiap organisasi membutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang mempunyai kompetensi agar dapat memberikan pelayanan yang prima dan bernilai. Dengan kata lain, organisasi tidak hanya mampu memberikan pelayanan yang memuaskan (customer satisfaction), tetapi juga berorientasi pada nilai (customer value) sehingga organisasi tidak semata-mata mengejar pencapaian produktivitas kerja yang tinggi, tetapi lebih pada kinerja dalam proses pencapaiannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi SDM dan disiplin  terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Bina Marga dan Bina Konstruksi Provinsi Lampung.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif yaitu menggambarkan sifat atau keadaan yang sementara berjalan pada saat penelitian dan memeriksa sebab-sebab dari suatu gejala tertentu. Penelitian ini menggunakan 50 responden penelitian. Ada tiga variabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu: 2 (dua) Variabel bebas (X1 dan X2) dan 1 (satu) variabel terikat dimana Kompetensi SDM (X1) dan Disiplin kerja (X2) sebagai variabel bebas dan Kinerja Pegawai (Y) sebagai variabel terikat.   Dari hasil pengolahan data telah berhasil ditemukan jawaban hipotesis yakni sebagai berikut; terdapat pengaruh Kompetensi SDM (X1) terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y), dengan tingkat pengaruh (R-square) sebesar 33,9% tingkat pengaruh sebesar 30,9%. Terdapat pengaruh Kompetensi SDM(X1), Disiplin kerja (X2) terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y), dengan tingkat pengaruh sebesar 38,8%
