Tree Stands and Their Productivity Dynamics at the Upper Growing Limit in Khibiny on the Background of Modern Climate Changes
Within the ecotone of the upper limit of woody vegetation on the southeastern macroslope of the Khibiny Mountain ridge (Kola Peninsula), the spatial and age structure, as well as features of the phytomass accumulation of spruceβbirch stands, were studied. Analysis revealed that there was a manifold increase in the density and productivity of forest stands in the last century, and the upper border of the woodlands and dense forests has moved considerably higher into the mountains. All of this happened against the background of an increase in early summer temperatures and a longer growing season in the area in the 20th century. Our data will help simulate the response of mountain ecosystems in the region to future climate change. Β© 2019, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd

Optimal by the order methods of solving integral equations in a special case
Β© 2017, Allerton Press, Inc. We study an integral equation of the third kind with fixed singularities of the kernel. We suggest and substantiate special generalized versions of spline methods for approximate solving these equations in the space of distributions. We show that the constructed methods are optimal by the order
Special version of the collocation method for integral equations of the second kind with singularities in the kernel
Β© 2015, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. We study a linear integral equation of the second kind with fixed singularities in the kernel. For its approximate solution in the space of βpointwise smoothβ functions, we suggest and justify a new version of the collocation method based on the use of special interpolation polynomials
Structure and Dynamics of Tree Stands at the Upper Timberline in the Western Part of the Putorana Plateau
Analysis of the age structure of Dahurian larch (Larix gmelinii Rupr.) forests in the western part of the Putorana Plateau (Sukhie Gory Range) and comparison of diachronous topographic maps and satellite images have revealed changes in the altitudinal position of the upper boundary of tree vegetation. the most significant changes occurred on south- and southwest-facing slopes. Correlations of trunk diameters with the phytomass of trees and its fractions have been found. the course of changes in the structure and phytomass of tree stands in the upper timberline over the past centuries has been reconstructed. Forest expansion has been facilitated by the general change in climate conditions (warming) in the study area. This study was supported by the Russian Science Foundation, project no. 17-14-01112
Implementation of Anti-Alcohol Campaign of 1950-ies in Ulyanovsk Region
The process of implementation of the anti-alcohol campaign carried out during the βKhrushchev thawβ in the Ulyanovsk region is considered. The novelty of the study is seen in the fact that the work is based on the first introduced into scientific circulation archival materials from the State Archive of the Modern History of the Ulyanovsk Region. It is shown how the party organizations of the Ulyanovsk region implemented the Resolution No. 1365 of the Central Committee of the CPSU and the Council of Ministers of the USSR βOn strengthening the fight against drunkenness and restoring order in the trade of spirits.β The authors of the article, having studied the references and reports of the regional committees of the CPSU on the discussion and implementation of this decision, come to the conclusion that the mechanisms of combating alcohol deviation in the studied time were mainly declarative. It is noted that the party meetings enthusiastically approved the measures proposed by the state institutions to combat alcoholization of the population, but specific measures that contribute to the solution of this social problem were not carried out. According to the authors, these practices are consistent with the double morality in the behaviour of Soviet citizens, developed in the Stalin period in the framework of social discipline
Effect of propolis bioflavonoids on the antioxidant potential of ejaculate and on oxidative sperm DNA damage
The investigation was undertaken to assess the molecular mechanisms of antioxidant action of propolis bioflavonoids in pathospermia. It included the data of examining 75 infertile males and 36 fertile ones. The 3-month administration of the agent in a daily dose of 40 mg resulted in normalization of ejaculate parameters, a reduction in the levels of biomarkers for oxidative protein and sperm DNA damage, and recovery of the antioxidant status of seminal plasma.</em
Artistic Heritage of A. A. Plastov as a Visual Source on the History of the Collective Farm Village of the Period of Stalinism
The possibility of using visual sources in the reconstruction of everyday practices of the collective farm peasantry during the Stalinism is analyzed. According to the authors, the visual turn that occurred in socio-humanitarian knowledge in the last quarter of the twentieth century, sets the task of studying everyday practices, the value world and mental attitudes of various social subjects. They believe that without involving visual sources from the period of Stalin's Soviet modernization, it is impossible to reconstruct the objective picture of the βsocial life worldβ of the collective farm village during the period of large-scale social and economic transformations. On the example of the fine heritage of A. A. Plastov, one of the most respected Soviet artists working in line with Soviet socialist realism, various aspects of the everyday life of the Soviet collective farm village are reconstructed. The study is aimed at solving a number of issues of the agrarian and social history of Russia, which until now have not attracted proper research attention. It is noted that Soviet visual sources served as the basis for the construction of a new Soviet civic identity and a means of discipline of social subjects. Attraction along with visual sources of information extracted from traditional written sources (archival documents and materials of periodicals) allows to ensure the reliability and verification of the results

Π»ΠΎΡΠΈΠ΄Π½ΠΎΡ ΠΊΠΈΡΠ»ΠΎΡΠΈ.The results of studies to determine the effectiveness of KU-2-8 cation extracting copper ions from water hardness ions in the presence of low concentrations of copper ions. It is shown that at concentration of copper from 1 to 30 mg/dm3 extraction of copper takes place in static conditions inefficiently both from distilled and from tap water irrespective of an ionite form. This indicator decreases at increase in volume of solution at the fixed ionite volume. Significant efficiency removal of copper ions in this cation achieved in dynamic conditions using resin in acid and salt form in the presence of ions in solution stiffness. It was established that the efficiency of desorption of copper ions hydrochloric acid solutions in static conditions was low. In dynamic conditions reached almost complete desorption of copper ions by solutions of hydrochloric acid.ΠΡΠΈΠ²Π΅Π΄Π΅Π½Ρ ΡΠ΅Π·ΡΠ»ΡΡΠ°ΡΡ ΠΈΡΡΠ»Π΅Π΄ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΠΉ ΠΏΠΎ ΠΎΠΏΡΠ΅Π΄Π΅Π»Π΅Π½ΠΈΡ ΡΡΡΠ΅ΠΊΡΠΈΠ²Π½ΠΎΡΡΠΈ ΠΊΠ°ΡΠΈΠΎΠ½ΠΈΡΠ° ΠΠ£-2-8 ΠΏΡΠΈ ΠΈΠ·Π²Π»Π΅ΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈΠΈ ΠΈΠΎΠ½ΠΎΠ² ΠΌΠ΅Π΄ΠΈ ΠΈΠ· Π²ΠΎΠ΄Ρ Π² ΠΏΡΠΈΡΡΡΡΡΠ²ΠΈΠΈ ΠΈΠΎΠ½ΠΎΠ² ΠΆΠ΅ΡΡΠΊΠΎΡΡΠΈ ΠΏΡΠΈ Π½ΠΈΠ·ΠΊΠΈΡ
