Evaluation of pharmacy visitors satisfaction with pharmaceutical care in Latvia.

Farmaceita loma ir paplaÅ”inÄjusies no vienkÄrÅ”as zaļu izsniegÅ”anas lÄ«dz pacientvÄrstai farmaceitiskajai aprÅ«pei. Ir vairÄki pÄtÄ«jumi, kuros bija iesaistÄ«ti gan farmÄcijas speciÄlisti, gan Ärsti, gan aptieku apmeklÄtÄji, tika pÄtÄ«ti farmaceitiskÄs aprÅ«pes pakalpojumi. PÄtÄ«jumu par konsultÄciju sniegÅ”anu, izsniedzot recepÅ”u zÄles aptieku apmeklÄtÄjam, kuri lieto zÄles ar pilnÄ«gu vai daļÄju iegÄdes izdevumu kompensÄciju no valsts budžeta lÄ«dzekļiem, izmantojot OSCE klientu apkalpoÅ”anas algoritmu, LatvijÄ praktiski nav. emot vÄrÄ tÄmas aktualitÄti, pÄtÄ«juma mÄrÄ·is ir novÄrtÄt aptieku apmeklÄtÄju apmierinÄtÄ«bu ar aptiekÄ saÅemtajiem farmaceitiskÄ aprÅ«pes pakalpojumiem un apkalpoÅ”anas kvalitÄti. PÄtÄ«juma teorÄtiskÄs daļas veikÅ”anai tika izmantota literatÅ«ras analÄ«ze, savukÄrt praktiskÄ daļa balstÄs uz aptieku apmeklÄtÄju un farmÄcijas speciÄlistu anketÄÅ”anu. Aptieku apmeklÄtÄju anketÄÅ”anas jautÄjumi lielÄ mÄrÄ pamatojÄs ar OSCE pacientu apkalpoÅ”anas algoritmiem un rezultÄti kopumÄ liecina par pozitÄ«vu vÄrtÄjumu no aptieku apmeklÄtÄju viedokļa. Vienlaikus, farmÄcijas speciÄlistu anketÄÅ”anas rezultÄti ļÄva atklÄt faktorus, kas ietekmÄ farmaceitiskÄs aprÅ«pes sniegÅ”anas kvalitÄti un identificÄt tÄs pilnveidoÅ”anas iespÄjas. The role of the pharmacist has expanded from simple greens to patient-centered pharmaceutical care. There have been a number of studies involving pharmacists, doctors and pharmacists, and pharmaceutical care services. There is practically no research in Latvia on the provision of consultations when issuing prescription medicines to visitors to pharmacies who use medicines with full or partial reimbursement of purchase expenses from the state budget using the OSCE customer service algorithm. In the study, the author intends to "assess satisfaction" as an analysis and interpretation of the requirements and needs of pharmacy visitors. Satisfaction of pharmacy visitors is considered to be a goal to be achieved in the provision of pharmaceutical care advice, in particular to pharmacy visitors with chronic diseases and polymorphic patients. Taking into account the topicality of the topic, the aim of the research is to assess the satisfaction of pharmacy visitors with the pharmaceutical care services received at the pharmacy and the quality of the service. The analysis of the literature was used for the theoretical part of the research, while the practical part is based on the survey of pharmacy visitors and pharmacy specialists. The survey questions of pharmacy visitors were largely based on OSCE patient care algorithms and the results show a generally positive assessment from the point of view of pharmacy visitors. At the same time, the results of the survey of pharmacy specialists allowed to reveal the factors that affect the quality of pharmaceutical care provision and to identify opportunities for its improvement. The results obtained in the study can be used to improve the quality of pharmaceutical care in Latvia

Synthesis, Properties and Applications of Magnetic Iron Oxide Nanoparticles
Superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles are proving to be a class of novel probes useful for in vitro and in vivo cellular and molecular imaging. Iron oxide nanoparticles present unique properties that can be applied in targeted delivery of therapeutic agents, development of immunochromatographic tests, hyperthermia, conversion of a pro-drug to its active form. in general magnetic iron oxide powders are mainly produced by co-precipitation.
Nanocomposite thin film present interesting magnetic, mechanical, electronic and optical properties due to their size-dependent phenomena.
The sol-gel process is as efficient in preparing magnetic nanoparticles dispersed in different matrices and to produce thin films with accurate control over their morphology and purity
Effect of Pozzolanic Additives on Structure and Chemical Durability of Concrete
This study investigates relationships between concrete containing pozzolanic additive and mineralogical composition, porosity and chemical durability to sulphate ion containing solution. As pozzolanic admixtures micro and nano size silica and biomass ashes were used. The investigation was carried out by X-ray diffraction, Hg absorption porosimetry and optical microscopy.
The pozzolanic additives activate the process of mineralization and are acting both as the cementitious admixture as well as the fine filler.
The crystalline phases in all depths of the specimen, mass change, porosity were investigated after the exposure of concrete in sulphate ions containing solution for 1-6 months under static conditions. The way of sulphate attack depends on a pozzolanic additives and kind of sulphate solution. X-ray phase analysis of concrete in different depth after exposure in solution identified gypsum for concrete with additives only up to10 mm.
The addition of fine dispersed additives decreases the number of pores in all range, especially in 1ā¦103 ļm. Cementitious properties of pozzolanic materials and crystallization of sulphate salt in pores decrease number of pores in range 0.5ā¦10ā3 ļm.
Studies have shown that the pozzolanic additives reduce porosity, increase density and as a consequence increase the chemical durability of concrete to sulphate ion containing solution

Synthesis and Properties of ZnO/Al Thin Films Prepared by Dip-Coating Process
In this work solāgel dip-coating technique was used to synthesize ZnO and ZnO/Al films. The influence of annealing regime and dopant concentration on the structural properties of ZnO and aluminum doped ZnO (ZnO/Al) films was investigated. The surface morphology and crystallinity of ZnO films were determined using atomic force microscopy and Xray diffraction, respectively. The experimental results show that ZnO and ZnO/Al films prepared using āshockā conditions have smooth surfaces and uniform grains.
