Synthesis Characterization And Photopolymerization Of Novel Phosphonated Materials

New phosphonated cross-linked materials were synthesized from telomers obtained by reaction between 10-undecenol and dialkyl hydrogenphosphonates. Telomers were then converted to materials resins by methacrylation reactions. Finally, photopolymerization of the different materials synthesized was achieved and influence of the nature of the phosphonate group (diester, monoacid and diacid) was also evaluated.New phosphonated cross-linked materials were synthesized from telomers obtained by reaction between 10-undecenol and dialkyl hydrogenphosphonates. Abstract The inhibitive action of some pyrazole derivatives, namely N1, N1-bis (2-(bis ((3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl) methyl) amino)ethyl)-N2, N2-bis ((3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl) methyl) ethane-1,2-diamine: PAP and diethyl 1,1'-(((4-acetylphenyl) azanediyl) bis (methylene)) bis (5-methyl-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylate): PAC against the corrosion of mild steel in 1 M HCl solution has been investigated using weight loss measurements, Tafel polarisation and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques. The experimental results obtained revealed that these compounds inhibited the steel corrosion in acid solution, the protection efficiency increased with increasing inhibitors concentration. The results obtained from the different corrosion evaluation techniques are in good agreement. Potentiodynamic polarisation studies clearly showed that PAP and PAC acted as mixed inhibitors affecting both cathodic and anodic corrosion currents. Adsorption of these inhibitors on steel surface obeyed to Langmuir adsorption isotherm. Thermodynamic data of adsorption showed that inhibition of steel corrosion in 1M HCl solution by pyrazole compounds is due to the formation of a chemisorbed film on the steel surface. SEM and EDX supported the adsorption conclusions

PORTUGALIAE ELECTROCHIMICA ACTA Use of Experimental Designs to Evaluate the Influence of 2- Mercaptobenzimidazole on the Corrosion of Mild Steel in HCl (1 M) Environment in the Presence of Alcohol Ethoxylate

Abstract The present study attempted to investigate the best conditions for the use of a mixture of 2-mercaptobenzimidazole and alcohol ethoxylate (C13) as corrosion inhibitor of mild steel in 1 M HCl through the use of the surface response methodology. A matrix of Doelhert to 4 factors was used as the experimental design in this research as it permits the use of the response surface methodology in a spherical field. The response used in the exploitation of the design was the determination of the inhibitor efficiency. It was assessed through gravimetric measurements on samples in the absence and presence of the inhibitor. The results were confirmed using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS)

Combined drug design of potential Mycobacterium tuberculosis and HIV-1 inhibitors: 3′,4′-di-substituted -4′H-spiro [isothiochromene-3,5′-isoxazol]-4(1H)-one

We report herein the design and synthesis of 17 new spiroheterocycles 10-26, on the basis of two hypothetical pharmacophore structures designed to interact with both of Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria and HIV-1 virus. The in vitro biological evaluation of these compounds allowed us to point out seven new potential non-nucleoside hits, with MIC values in the range of 6.25 μg/mL and two new potential anti-HIV-1 inhibitors. ©ARKAT USA, Inc
