Új orchideafaj a magyar flórában: Epipactis pseudopurpurata Mered’a = Epipactis pseudopurpurata Mered’a, a new orchid species for the Hungarian flora
A Budai-hegysĂ©gben, Telki határában a magyar flĂłrára Ăşj fajkĂ©nt megtaláltuk az Epipactis pseudopurpurata kis állományát. IsmertetjĂĽk a faj fĹ‘bb jellemzĹ‘it Ă©s összehasonlĂtjuk a rokon E. purpurata-val.</jats:p
The association between metamemory, subjective memory complaints, mood, and well-being: the Hungarian validation of Multifactorial Memory Questionnaire
The current study addressed the relationship between subjective memory complaints and negative affect, well-being, and demographic variables by investigating the Hungarian version of Multifactorial Memory Questionnaire. The original factor structure showed a poor fit on our data; therefore, principal component analysis was conducted on data from 577 participants, ranging in age from 18 to 92 years. Our analysis provided a six-component solution: Satisfaction , Retrospective memory mistakes , Prospective memory mistakes , External Strategies , Internal Strategies, and Frustration . To improve the reliability and internal consistency indicators we created four subscales by combining Frustration with Satisfaction, and Retrospective and Prospective memory mistakes subscales . Thus, we were able to preserve the factor structure similar to the original. Subjective memory complaints were correlated positively with anxiety and depression and were associated negatively with well-being. We found a slight positive correlation between age and memory ability, and age was associated negatively with the frequency of external strategy use. Individuals with higher education were satisfied with their memory, used more frequent external strategies. Furthermore, men were more satisfied with their memory and reported better memory ability, while women tended to use more external and internal strategies. Women also showed a higher level of anxiety and depression than men. In conclusion, self-reported memory changes are of particular importance because of their association with perceived mental health status and implications for later disease development
Adatok Budapest környéke flórájának ismeretéhez II. = Contributions to the flora of Budapest and its surroundings II.
CikkĂĽnk 52 ritka taxon (köztĂĽk 26 orchidea) Ăşj vagy megerĹ‘sĂtett florisztikai adatait tartalmazza Budapest környĂ©kĂ©rĹ‘l. KözĂĽlĂĽk egy faj (Epipactis peitzii) Ăşj Magyarország flĂłrájára, a Budai-hegysĂ©gbĹ‘l Ă©s a PilisbĹ‘l kerĂĽlt elĹ‘. Röviden jellemezzĂĽk, összehasonlĂtva a legközelebbi rokon fajokkal (E. leptochila csoport). További három faj (Corydalis intermedia, Epipactis leptochila, Epipactis muelleri) a Budai-hegysĂ©g flĂłrájára, nĂ©gy (Anacamptis coriophora, Epipactis neglecta, E. tallosii, Valerianella pumila) a Pilis flĂłrájára, hat (Epipactis futakii, E. leptochila, E. muelleri, E. neglecta, Ophrys apifera, O. holubyana) pedig a Visegrádi-hegysĂ©g flĂłrájára Ăşj.</jats:p
Az esszenciális zsĂrsavak metabolizmusának zavarai Ă©s terápiás befolyásulásuk lehetĹ‘sĂ©gei a gyermekgyĂłgyászati gyakorlatban = Disturbances of essential fatty acid metabolism and potential therapeutic interventions in the paediatric praxis
Szignifikáns fordĂtott korreláciĂłt találtunk a nĹ‘i tej arachidonsav- Ă©s dokozahexĂ©nsavtartalma valamint a 18 szĂ©natomot tartalmazĂł transz izomĂ©r zsĂrsavak között, ami arra utal, hogy az anyai Ă©trendbe bekerĂĽlĹ‘ transz izomĂ©r zsĂrsavak károsan befolyásolhatják az ĂşjszĂĽlött esszenciális zsĂrsavellátottságát. Szignifikánsan magasabb arachidonsav Ă©s a dokozahexĂ©nsav Ă©rtĂ©keket találtunk a szoptatás elsĹ‘ hĂłnapjában a koraszĂĽlöttet szĂĽlt anyák tejĂ©ben, mint az idĹ‘re szĂĽletett ĂşjszĂĽlöttet szĂĽlt anyákĂ©iban. MegfigyelĂ©sĂĽnk Ăşjabb szemponttal támasztja alá a saját anya tejĂ©nek fontosságát a koraszĂĽlöttek táplálásában. Szignifikáns összefĂĽggĂ©seket találtunk a köldökzsinĂłr vĂ©na Ă©s artĂ©ria falának a megszĂĽletĂ©skor meghatározott zsĂrsavösszetĂ©tele, valamint a csecsemĹ‘k mind 3 hĂłnapos, mind pedig 18 hĂłnapos Ă©letkorban megĂtĂ©lhetĹ‘ fejlĹ‘dĂ©sneurolĂłgiai statusa között. Ez a megfigyelĂ©sĂĽnk arra utal, hogy a várandĂłs anyák zsĂrsavellátottsága a megszĂĽletĂ©s utáni legalább másfĂ©l Ă©ves idĹ‘szakra szĂłlĂłan befolyásolhatja a gyermek neurolĂłgiai fejlĹ‘dĂ©sĂ©t. MegállapĂtottuk, hogy az uncoupling protein gĂ©n -866 G/A polimorfizmusa szignifikánsan összefĂĽggĂ©sben van elhĂzott gyermekek zsĂrsavellátottságával, amit cĂ©lszerű figyelembe venni az elhĂzottak Ă©trendje zsĂrsavösszetĂ©telĂ©t befolyásolĂł vizsgálatok tervezĂ©sekor. Ăšjabb adatokat szolgáltattunk a hosszĂş szĂ©nláncĂş, többszörösen telĂtetlen zsĂrsavak a diabetes mellitus Ă©s a gyulladásos bĂ©lbetegsĂ©gek kĂłrkĂ©peiben betöltött szerepĂ©re vonatkozĂłan. | We found significant inverse correlations between human milk arachidonic and docosahexaenoic acid values, on the one hand, and values of 18-carbon trans isomeric fatty acids, on the other hand. This observation indicates that maternal dietary intake of trans isomeric fatty acids may untowardly influence the availability of essential fatty acids for the infant. We found significantly higher values of arachidonic and docosahexaenoic acids in milk samples of mothers of preterm than in those of full-term infants. This observation provides further ground for the utilisation of the own mothers' milk in the nutrition of preterm infants. We revealed significant correlations between long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids in cord vessel wall lipids and neurodevelopment of the offspring both at the age of 3 and 18 months. These data indicate that fatty acid status of expecting women may influence the neurodevelopment of their children at least up to the age of 1.5 years. We demonstrated significant correlations between the -866 G/A polymorphism of uncoupling protein gene and fatty acid status in obese children; this relationship should be taken into consideration at planning studies on modifying fatty acid intake in obese subjects. We published further data on the role of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids in diabetes mellitus and inflammatory bowel disease
